    I know nobody is interested at this price, but I’ll say it anyway…. I can’t see anything about UV protection on these so don’t be surprised when they fry a hole in your retina’s

    Is Polycarbonate not UV protective by design? (I’m not saying it is just what Google is telling me)

    “Polycarbonate as a material blocks almost the entire relevant UV spectrum, meaning both UVA and UVB. The material absorbs UV radiation and does not allow it to be transmitted through.“

    I assume that these are not UV protective, which is a major issue as you will open your eyes wider due to the tint and let in more UV rays than is you were not wearing sunglasses and squinted thereby reducing the amount of UV rays you were letting into your eyes.

    Dont buy these or give them as gifts, they are dangerous (again assuming no UV protection as none is stated on the website).

    A fair point however a quick Google search confirms that polycarbonate, the material that these lenses are made from as stated on the website, is 100% resistant to UVA and UVB and most sunglasses seem to be made from it. Old fashioned sunglasses had a coating to shield from UV rays.

    Most(96.5%) sunglasses including big brands are all made in one place somewhere in Spain. The realistic price is about 2 £ for each pair if you loose banding /label etc. Heat added bought 10 pairs.

    No cloth bags either some fancy bubble wrap and a resealable bag though That's a win.
