Yeah, Oakley PRIZM rocks. I love PRIZM trail having tried it a few times - will get some active Oakleys (Mainlink and Crosslink) in PRIZM trail and road. Currently use some PRIZM saphire turbines - another active pair. Even in fairly low light they still work fine - despite blocking a fair amount of light - as they really enhance contrast. PRIZM road has a much higher transmission and even more contrast, and PRIZM yet more still. So you could comfortably use PRIZM trail when cloudy and at dawn and dusk I'd say. And PRIZM road likely not far off. If I get a prescription pair one day (you're looking at around £300 so that's why I haven't yet!), I'll likely get insurance for them. I don't think it'd be expensive and perhaps would not cost anything extra to add these to your insurance. That takes some of the fear away. But yeah, if you get Oakleys you tend to baby them. For cycling specific I'd probably get the EV Zero over these. So lightweight and no frame. If you want something more like these - so more robust than the EV Zero and able to change lenses, Radarlock or Radar EV are better too I think.
I had the Decathlon 900's for last year's cycling and they're great for the money. But this year I got the Jawbreakers with a set of photochromic lenses. All I can say is wow! The optic quality and contrast is so much better. Plus you see virtually no frame in your peripheral vision. Yes they are a lot of money, but if you do a lot of cycling and you can afford it, the Jawbreakers are excellent!
One of the most horrific looking pair of sunglasses I've ever seen. No wonder they're on offer.
If it's any use, the Decathlon Roadr Cycling 900's arrived today. They are absolutely brilliant. Worth way more than the £30-£35 they are asking for them. Lenses are super easy to swap out, although it does all feel a bit fragile while doing it. The yellow lens is especially good. Absolutely recommend these if you don't want to splash out on the Oakley's. Here's a link: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/roadr-900-4-pack-lenses-id_8382665.html Those are the £35 ones I got. The black, blue and red look excellent, just like the photo. Hope it helps!
I've lost my £4 glasses, I'm worried I'd lose these too
