I have this drive, it does less than the rated speeds when I copy from it to my much faster Sabrent, I get about 1400MB - 1600MB/s read from it, which is fine as I mostly use it as a scratch drive. My secondary M.2 slot is gimped anyway due to the motherboard so that's why I went for a lower performing cheaper drive. Storing data on that isn't mission critical. It's a decent drive, does the job, not fast but OK for my requirements. I paid £89.99 on 28th November 2020. So yeah almost 3 years ago, it was a cheap drive, and now it's an ultra cheap drive. Nothing to get excited about but it's still working but doesn't get heavy usage.

I thought this was posted already, if I'd known I would have, lol.
Great value drive, far better value than the Crucial P3 for £35, but I bet it still doesn't get as much heat as that deal.

Seems great to have in a budget system, granted it's not 3500mb/s speed but hey it's a 1tb for £30.

Really good value overall. I think the description says it's SLC cache too, but granted with what you mentioned on previous deals I don't fully know what the extent of that claim is.

I may be stupid but is 600MB/S not really low?

it is, the staff put the space in there. it's actually 1600MB/s (write speed)

I'll change that soon to save any further confusion

    I must resist.

If it drops further then I doubt I'll be able to hold back. Ideal for 10Gbps caddy use

A couple of Crucial P2 NVMe were bought previously £57.60 each in AUG 2021 for some caddies to hook up to a couple of series x (edited)

This is a great deal here! Don't worry about too much about the read write speeds they only really matter when copying very large files. For a boot drive with your apps this is a very good drive

Pay a little more for a better quality and quicker one.
