    Good lord i remember watching this is an empty cinema years ago, absolutely brilliant film, grossly under rated. Lets not forget the booming prodigy song at the credits roll.

    I really liked it until the end. Couldn't see a thing

    Being honest though even a still of Sam Neil in the film now seriously creeps me out.

    I enjoyed this and Pandorum, both of which got hammered by the critics. Obviously they're not in the same league as Alien, but still very enjoyable. That being said, I've seen some rotters that get nothing but praise from critics. Just got to take it with a pinch of salt I suppose.

    Pandorum was really good too, I bet that will start being reappraised in a few years. Like Event Horizon, it has a big discrepancy on IMDb between the critic scores and the public scores.

    I still hope that some day someone will find a reel of the cut footage (cuts imposed by the studio) but for now they seem to be lost forever 😔

    Fun fact: Event Horizon is basically a remake of a Disney film, called Blackhole. There's huge parallels. Obviously not quite as dark, but still dark for a Disney film. A robot blends the insides of a guy in one scene..

    bonus fun fact: Event Horizon is for the main part considered a Warhammer 40K prequel proposed to exist in the same universe
