You can search through their massive library of fonts and add them to your list. They have fonts for every eventuality and you can even download them as a font file to use offline.

I am also sharing as they have recently launched a range of free to use icons to insert in to your doc or web page4201057_1.jpg
Finally they have added some really great information about fonts and type in their knowledge section which is interesting if you fancy a read

Google isn't quite as benevolent as you may think with this. Google actively uses it's fonts for tracking visitors to your website. I suppose there is no such think as free :-) Google the term "google fonts tracking" for more details.

For anyone after a privacy-conscious alternative check out Bunny fonts. Handy for those smaller sites/demos.

Are these free to use commercially?

Yes, you can use them commercially, and even include them within a product that is sold commercially. Usage and redistribution conditions are specified in the license. The most common license is the SIL Open Font License

There is a really great selection available

The fonts have "i"s, they're spying on you! Not that Google would mind.

You’re not far off…. According to GDPR, an IP address is personal information which can be used for identifying the user. Thus, Google Fonts violates GDPR by collecting and sharing personal information with third-party services without user consent.
