    Barbie was one of the worst movies I've ever seen - that's not even because of the political slant/meaning - it's just a dreadfully made (but very succesful) movie.

    Oppenheimer was excellent if a little bit drawn out - could have been 30 mins shorter and been as impactful imo - however it's not a movie that needs the cinema really.. well apart from the sound track/effects which are brilliant.

    I watched Barbie with the other half and when it finished I said well that was awful and she said what it was amazing!!

    Time to consider other options…

    Is barbie worth watching for a bloke? Still not watched it. Been holding for a quiet cinema not filled with kids/students.

    We watch movies once a month or so and a good 3/4ths of the time there's major disruptions from people talking or using their phones. Some are antisocial youths just using theatres as a place to do things in the dark, but most are ordinary people who genuinely don't understand that you're not supposed to talk in the theatres... Watched Oppenheimer this summer and the guy next to me kept sighing out of boredom (wife dragged him) and was on his phone the whole time! Since covid, so many people just have zero awareness of how to behave in public.

    Love showcase seats are elite. Going to see saw X on Sunday at insider price £7.50. If a movie ever comes out on Friday go on Sunday cheaper and less packed.
