TDS stands for total dissolved solids and is basically composed of inorganic salts and a small amount of organic matter. Waterdrop undersink water filter is not designed for significant TDS removal. If you want to reduce TDS, please choose a Waterdrop RO system.
So rather contradictory when it says it can reduce lead contamination.
I suppose this will be worth plumbing in if you are only concerned with improving taste/flavour - at least that's from what I can see from the Amazon reviews.
Also note replacement filters are around £25/30 each and last around 12 months

Contacted customer services and they sent me a replacement and again it lasted three weeks before slowing to a trickle again.
We live in a hard water area and it seems the ultra filter versions clog up a lot quicker because of this.
They have now sent me a non ultra filter version so I'll see how I get on with it.
To be fair, customer service has been excellent and speedy replacements sent. There was also the offer of a full refund but I thought I'd try another filter rather than removing the whole thing. (edited)
