Price dropped from £30, free collection available
Arctis surround sound
Utilise sound to win the game with the SteelSeries Arctis 1 7.1 Gaming Headset. The Arctis surround sound not only gives away direction precisely, it emphasizes those give-away sounds too. So when you hear them coming, the element of surprise is yours. And it makes for immersive experience too, even outside gaming.
Discord-certified mic
Clear team communication is half the success in online gaming. With the Discord-certified, bidirectional mic you'll be heard loud and clear. And it's noise cancelling too, so your teammates won't hear neighbours power tools instead of you.
Durable design
The steel-reinforced headband is super durable, while remaining comfortable during long gaming sessions. When you're done gaming, detach the microphone, fold down the earcups and pop it in your bag for later.

sorted byHeat added - seems a good price for a quality headset.
I got caught out with the HyperX Cloud Revolver - it's a little more obvious as the 7.1 part is USB and the headphones have the standard 3.5mm 4 pole jack
Is there any reason that I shouldn't buy this? I am not a gamer and so not familiar with the tech used in gaming.
A Microsoft Modern Wireless headset is good for work. Or any of the Plantronics/Jabra fare (edited)
