A child friendly cheap(ish) tablet with a stylus pen?

My 8 yo daughter has seen the iPad pen recently and really loved drawing with it. She currently has a fire HD and has been searching for stylus pens and cases for it (like you can get for iPad where the pen clips into it). She's now put it on her Christmas list!

I've had a look online and can't seem to find any cases with stylus pen slots for the fire HD - probably because they were never intended to have one. I'm a little stuck as to whether to get her a standard case/separate cheap stylus or look to something like an iPad.

Does anyone know anything apart from iPad on the market that's not going to cost hundreds that meets what she is after?

I don't think you'll find anything similar to the ipad pen that works on a fire HD tablet - would love to be wrong. Some Samsung tablets have something similar but the only thing you'll find for a fire HD is one of those stylus's that have a giant rubber-like nub on the end that aren't comparable to a drawing pen.

The Fire Max 11 tablet is designed to have pen support - and apparently the 13th Gen Fire HD 10 (2023)

I find the Lenovo Android tablets absolutely brilliant for their pricepoint. They work with styluses and are perfect for adults and children alike.

Yeah, I think you will need a iPad to use a Apple Pencil. I know my (Xiao)Mi Pad 5 supports a pen as mine came with one, I saw a deal on here recently for the Mi Pad 5 (I think it was about £220) but don't think it included the pen and they can be a bit pricey.
