Trusted and loved since 1942 We’ve been making toilet tissue since 1942 and have been market leaders since 1961. Even the Queen is a fan. Andrex was awarded the Royal Warrant in 1978 to indicate we're a regular supplier of toilet tissue to the Royal households.

We believe everyone deserves to feel clean We have partnered with leading global aid organisations to bring sanitation around the world changing thousands of lives through projects with Unicef and Water Aid. Most recently, we have supported helping those who need our products with InKind Direct.

Always innovating to make things better We know how important the environment is to you and your family. So we’re doing our bit to be more sustainable – whether that’s introducing paper packaging, using 66% less water when making Andrex or simply continuing to innovate and update our tissue fibre sourcing. And, let’s not forget that all Andrex products and packaging are 100% recyclable.

2 ply, get ready to have poo on your fingers

I think this might be a "you thing"

If anyone has access to Amazon Fresh, I still consider the 4 ply presto ones - 12 for £4.50 to be the best value.

You only need to spend £40 for free delivery until the end of the month with Fresh. 96 rolls of 4-ply for £36!
  4. DrunkOnRedWine's avatar
2 ply but decent poo paper. Doesn't block up the loo like quilted sheets
  5. sxxychocolate's avatar
Deffo a good deal BUT these are what I would consider 'small' rolls...so don't last long, especially if you have a healthy metabolism like mine!

They're deffo better than the Splesh ones, which although come in mahoosive pack sizes, lack paper quality and the amount of paper on each roll so don't long at all, which for me count them out of my quality toilet time!

Currently, my bottom very much loves the Andrex Classic Clean Mega Toilet Roll, which is currently 9.49 for a 12 pack. S&S will save you 5%.

Love a toilet paper chat in the morning...and remember to wash those hands!

By the way, thanks for posting (edited)

Think this is the one I moved to.... (has purple puppies??)

This is only 2-ply. Ver likely that Daddy Finger can pop in to say hello.
  7. s_h88r's avatar
They are not good wouldn’t buy them again
    Joel_Thomas4vH's avatar
Any reason why? Specific reasons would be useful.

I usually hate the '2 ply - this is rubbish' brigade commentators, but having tried this lately I wouldn't use it again. Quality is poor, but on par with any 2 ply TBH.
  9. gavstercraig's avatar
This is terrible.... Ended up getting about 100 rolls🙈... absolute thin rubbish.... Go to the tik tok store for a better deal
  10. ompek1_'s avatar
Currently you can get decent 3-ply pack of 24 rolls at lidl just for £6.99 if you prefer
  11. zibi-k's avatar
It is thin and not worth the money - and I believe, this is not just my opinion.
Can you include somewhere in your post information - this is “2 ply” one because it is quite important for most of us .
  12. matt_vans's avatar
2 ply so no thanks! Stick to 3 ply people.
    ashyt16turbo's avatar
    Nah you're alright. I'm not a child.

Are these delivered in discreet packaging? Or will the driver know what I'm up to?

Can the chocolate finger crowd just clarify something?

I just automatically assumed everyone took 2 squares of roll and folded it over to make 1 square (hence effectively 4-ply) before de-greasing the clinker? Is this not the case? Do ppl really make an approach to their choco cavern with a square or two unfolded? If so, I'd imagine using 3-ply in such a way is living on the edge, and for 2-ply, you'd be fishing your fingers out every day! (edited)

These are questions typically addressed at todler age by parents. Hot topic among toddlers but I advise you not to approach any with these questions, unless you want to get banned from Mothercare. They overreact at everything.

Can pick up 2 ply better loo roll in Aldi at 11p per 100 sheets and this is 23p per 100. Worth paying double the price for the puppy on cellophane?
  16. singhster's avatar
Vastly inferior to Aldi Premium stuff which is £6.49 for 24 rolls. I bought some Andrex for an Xmas treat for the family. Worst gift ever.

For environmental reasons, I follow the one up, one down, one to polish rule; so this is a lifetime's supply for me, thanks OP.
    Salad_Fingers's avatar
Where did you hear that, Mr Rimmer?
  20. Anisa_Mkn's avatar
Wow at the disgust of people not using WATER to wash. 🤢
    Fizzybottle786's avatar
    I know, shocking!
  21. packman's avatar
If you fold it over you get 4-ply, I mean I've never wiped directly without folding even with 3-ply, it gonna break.
    bebetositu's avatar
    Totally agree.
  22. Spartan117b's avatar
Thanks, been waiting for a price drop on these.

  25. ChimpMaster's avatar
    170 sheets per roll
Not as good as Costco Kirkland which is 240 sheets per roll
  26. ashyt16turbo's avatar
Wet wipes is where it's at. Once used you won't be able to wipe without them.
    c_1st's avatar
No, they clog pipes and - because they don't biodegrade - cooking fat in drains sticks to them, and create fatbergs in the sewers.

Better to use ordinary toilet paper:
dry-wipe 1st, then moisten toilet paper with water to 'wet-wipe', dry-off with ordinary wc paper.

You'll never use needless/sewer-damaging commercially packaged wet-wipes again

And, you'll see how much cleaner you get with moistened tissue, you'll never simply dry-wipe on its own (edited)
  27. Ivor_Dengine's avatar
    Better with Costco
  28. gamesdealer's avatar
I generally agree with using water but a bidet not a jug like a peasant

This or Costco for a cleaner backside?
  32. RomanTrabant's avatar
How much do you have to hate dogs to buy this? You pick a piece of paper with a little doggy on it and then... That's just disgusting. I bought this once - never again.
    Badbear's avatar
I feel you're thinking too deeply about this.

thanks opp £15.94 through subscribe and save 😄
  34. shantelle_harvey's avatar
Doesn't work for me for subscribe and save but I've had them before on the s&S so I wonder if that's why?
  35. westyuk1's avatar
They like to mess with the prices on this quite regularly if on S&S.
    You have been warned!
    sashforth's avatar
Yes, but the first order will be at this price. I will almost certainly cancel the subscription after the delivery as I do with most S&S subscriptions.
  36. adamnsu's avatar
These are actually poor quality and 2ply like others have mentioned. You could end up using more which makes them expensive too
  37. Sarah7's avatar
    Minimum purchase of 2.
