    Had one and sold it. The smoked crystal makes its legibility poor. Other versions of this watch are much better

    Negative displays on Casios are so hit and miss. I have a GW-056 with one and it's terrible viewing, but the G-7710 I have is excellent. As good as the normal display G-7700 imo.

    I have a couple of the 2100 series. One thing worth checking out are the S2100 watches these are sometimes called the mini-Casioak. They are a few mm smaller, great for smaller wrists but also look good on larger as around 41mm - my wife uses one as her holiday watch. The GM-S2100-3AER for example is metal and has a cool green strap and dial.

    The blue metal version is also on there for 15 quid more and looks absolutely stunning in person. The pics always make them look comically blue but they are more fun metal blue with a great watch face.

    I have this one and some other 2100s. I paid 200 for this a while back. Well worth it if you like the look in photos you won't be disappointed.

    I wear this one on rare occasions when I want the look. The shiny metal on the face paired with the grey hands really makes it hard to read the time in a lot of situations. The light function does work great for that though and the lume is also really good.

    The negative displays on all 2100s I have seen are pretty much unreadable without bright sunshine or using the light function. The tiny screen doesn't help either.

    Great watch for this price but IMO not for everyday as it will get scratched up and the legilibity isn't the best.
