Retina display
Ensuring superb detail and vivid colours, the 10.9" Retina display is ideal for watching movies, creating your next imaginative project, or working on your own art and graphics. True Tone automatically adjusts screen brightness for comfortable viewing depending on environmental lighting.

Super speedy performance
The A14 Bionic chip delivers power and performance for any activity. Edit a 4K video in iMovie, plan a globe-trotting holiday with friends or play a graphics-intensive game. With all-day battery life, you can do it all without skipping a beat.

One-touch security
The iPad was designed with privacy and security in mind, featuring Touch ID. Touch ID lets you use your fingerprint as your password, letting you unlock your iPad or make secure purchases on the App Store, iTunes and iBooks. Your fingerprint information stays on your iPad - it is not shared with anyone, even Apple, helping to ensure that your personal information remains private.

Supports Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard
The 2022 iPad is compatible with the first-generation Apple Pencil*. So you can take notes, create artworks, mark up screenshots, and much more. Or attach a thin and light Smart Keyboard for comfortable typing, which folds up into a slim, lightweight cover for protection. *Apple Pencil, adapter and Smart Keyboard are sold separately.

All day battery life

The 2022 iPad will keep you going for up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video off a single charge.

A world of apps
Each of the core collection of apps is engineered with incredible attention to detail, like Photos, Maps, Messages, News and Health, that work straight out of the box. Plus, with over a million apps available on the App Store, you'll find plenty of options to do almost anything you can imagine. With iCloud, iOS can connect your Apple products automatically and make your everyday easier. Start a task on your iPad and finish on your Mac. Stream video from your iPhone to your TV through Apple TV. Everything's synced so all your devices have the latest information.

Wireless communication
Built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to connect this tablet to the internet, whether that's through your own home network, Wi-Fi at work or a public connection. Bluetooth will let you send files and folders wirelessly between Bluetooth devices, and stream music to compatible speakers or headphones.

    £359.99 at Costco

Best to wait for new ones, especially as £ is much better vs $ than when current ones launched.

New ones on the way next month. But this is a decent price and you can’t go wrong with any iPad really

Not for entry level one, that's expected in Q4. The Pro and Air are expected to be upgraded first.

All deals only for 64GB- I need 128GB or- in the worst case- 256GB
    darkclouds's avatar
    There isn’t a 128gb for this model only 64gb/256

Currently having an issue with a 3 year old iPad which constantly reboots.
Seems to be a common issue, Apple want £350 to fix it which ridiculous.
    tommyknocker1982's avatar
3 years is well out of warranty, though. Maybe use the dodgy one to use as a trade-in?

    Awful deal

Agree, pay £499 and feel posh.

64gb tablet for £379 ?? very poor internal storage and no option to upgrade it via sd card.
At this price should be 256gb.

Same price at Argos and Curry’s for those who don’t live near a John Lewis store and don’t want to wait for delivery.
    rodman's avatar
C&C from any waitrose the next day.
  10. Markvl's avatar
Same price on Amazon. For who prefer them.

the 2 yr warranty is probably worth it from JL

I assume this does not have a headphone jack?

Tried this £30 off on £200 spend code MYJL30OFF200 but it didn’t worked as it seems to be for fashion category products only on John Lewis website. £349 price would have been awesome but sadly the code didn’t worked

So perhaps Costco £359.99 price is better if anyone has got Costco membership or Amazon Italy £354.29+£4.17 (EU Plug)

All JL codes excluded Apple products.

Do not forget, that you can get TCB cashback of 5%.
    shibbrew's avatar
TCB is currently tracking at 1% for Apple purchases and Quidco at 0.75%

This is still the current generation entry-level iPad and is priced less than the previous 9th generation. For me, this qualifies as a stonking deal. Do not hesitate to upgrade to this if you're using the older iPad with legacy design language.
  15. toythatkills's avatar
It's available in four different colours, not colourways.

Seems like a good deal but also seems like it's probably the new price, right, given how many places have dropped it to this price? Very tempting but I think it might be better to wait if this price is gonna hold for a while.

Paid £443 for the blue one on Friday in Costco, and thought that was a bargain lol from the usual £499…. Anyone know if the costco instore price is same as the reduced online price ?
    edp33's avatar
Seems they offer a price adjustment will try that, ah nevermind they dont price match online vs store as prices can vary (edited)
  17. brendonhope3's avatar
This is a good price, good enough iPad for most people
  18. tom6195's avatar
Most likely a new ipad coming in the next few weeks fyi
  19. Eebobobo's avatar
Can anyone enlighten me as to why this was so much hotter than the Costco one that was about £30 cheaper for the same model?
  20. Diabolik88's avatar
Because that's what happens in HUKD silly!
  21. ST09's avatar
    64 gb lol
    Diabolik88's avatar
Is there any reason why you've waited two whole months to make that rather pointless comment?
