The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition | PS5
The Outer Worlds is a single-player, sci-fi RPG from the developer of Pillars of Eternity and Fallout: New Vegas. Explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, and decide what kind of character you will become as your choices determine how the story unfolds.

Tales of Arise | PS4, PS5
From Bandai Namco comes a new entry in the long-running ‘Tales’ series, featuring a diverse cast of characters, an intuitive and rewarding combat system, and a captivating story. For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom. The tale begins with two people born on different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future. Set in a lush world worth fighting for, Tales of Arise delivers a first-class JRPG experience.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla | PS4, PS5

Advanced RPG mechanics allow you to shape the growth of your character and influence the world around you. With every choice you make, from political alliances and combat strategy to dialogue and gear progression, you will carve your own path to glory. Construct and upgrade buildings that allow for deep customization, including a barracks, blacksmith, tattoo parlor and more. Recruit new members to your clan and personalize your Viking experience.

LEGO Worlds | PS4
LEGO Worlds is an open environment of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Create anything you can imagine one brick at a time, or use large-scale landscaping tools to create vast mountain ranges and dot your world with tropical islands. Drop in prefabricated structures to build and customize any world to your liking. Explore using helicopters, dragons, motorbikes or even gorillas and unlock treasures that enhance your gameplay. Watch your creations come to life through characters and creatures that interact with you and each other in unexpected ways. In LEGO Worlds, anything is possible.

Anyone who likes Arcade racers will love NFS Unbound. Its great.
    Majid_Khan's avatar
Worst NFS game I've played. Career mode is just ridiculous. Probably good for multiplayer only

Assassins Creed Valhalla again, wasn't this added and removed a year ago?
    JoshuaT_Chapman's avatar
    Yes
  3. Hatsworth's avatar
Awesome set of games, glad I resubbed. Not too fussed about NFS or Lego, but very happy with the rest. They've also added a couple more of the Tales of games to the classics catalog.

Never get the negative comments on a selection like this, I don't understand what people are waiting for
    deleted2829399's avatar
Feels like people just sit looking at their PS5 with nothing to play until these few monthly games are added? They must have a lot of free time having played everything on Extra 🤷‍♂️

Not great for anyone who has gamepass as well. I know there's only so many games out there but the amount of crossover is extremely high of late. Best to just pick one really unless the day one releases are a big enough draw to go for XGP only

    Any news on what's leaving?

Playstation grenade on youtube lists all coming and going games. Short vids and worth a watch

What’s the cheapest way to get premium? I’ve just bought a ps5!

I'm looking for the same. Please let me know if you come across a good deal

Anyone angry at this is right to be. Outer Worlds: Spacers Choice was given away free from Epic for PC over Christmas. Don't need a subscription to keep playing that.
    jimbo001's avatar
Somehow I'm not angry that a game was given away free on PC during a 24 hour period.

Raised their prices to give us this

Sony slowly making the extra tier another trash essen teir, because they want to forced you onto their 100 quid a year plus so called prem, which going by their logic will increase in price next year again, becausse it costs more money each year to close down all those servers. lol
    Fade2Grey's avatar
I paid for a year in advance like an idiot. Never again.

Oh no, my Wife purchased AC Valhalla at the weekend 😫 It was only £10 but it's still gonna annoy her
    InfoAddict's avatar
That's the price I pay for a year of Premium!!!
  14. Lil6ix's avatar
I'll grab Valhalla, just got a ps.. rest is junk
    IronopolisRedux's avatar
Valhalla is junk, repetitive Ubisoft formula. Tales of Arise and Outer Worlds are great but I have a feeling you’re more a call of duty fan
  15. Fade2Grey's avatar
Spacers Choice Edition for Outer Worlds is a touch! Sony can still do one though.
  16. sherlockholmes's avatar
Almost bought NFS this morning, glad I didn't!
  17. jiggerjay's avatar
The outer worlds is definitely one on my list to try, missed it when it came out and have been just waiting for it to come on plus/extra
  18. matt020295's avatar
I was going to buy NFS: Unbound for £11. I’m glad I waited.

Tales of Arise is good. Had to hide the ps5 from the wife as she kept playing it.

Goodness me, didn't extend my subscription in December and looks like I'm not missing much.

No long have the "which game do I play" stress - First World Problems.

Cancelled PS Plus now as really not getting the value personally.

I was considering tales arise so I guess it's decent for this month. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for plus extra (edited)
  25. boabo's avatar
    acceptable

Tales of Symphonia and Vesperia on Premium. Nice! Also, Lego Jurassic World for Extra. 👏

Literally just bought outer worlds on Xbox
    Sonnyjim77's avatar
    Thank you for your sacrifice!
  28. ChristopherDias's avatar
Very good month. Recently, this has been worse than gamepass, but unbound is a good nfs. The tales are mostly great, and so are the Lego games for kids( have a 4 year old). Keep this up Sony!

They only just removed Valhalla in like October lol now it’s back! Can finally leave my copy sealed
    robinkurosaki's avatar
Valhalla was never actually on there, the prior ones were, but this was yet to be.

EDIT - Apologies, this isn't entirely true. It was on there from June 2022, hen removed on the 20th December that year.

I didn't actually realise Sony do this with game catalogue games. I have noted the standard tier games can sometimes later on end up on extra rather than being available for the 1 month only. But not to pull then reintroduce as if its a good thing (albeit in this case Valhalla is one I want to) try), that's poor form. (edited)

    That's more like it.
  31. BoGoF's avatar
niceeee I was gonna buy nfs unbound too

Some good gems in here, gow bootleg is the only dud in here.
I wish sony would drop the Ubisoft partnership and give us EA or something, at least it wouldn’t 15+ asscreed games of the same generic crap.
    damanisjon's avatar
    EA. Ew

If you like Slay the Spire, Roguebook is a similarly great card battler.
    berts08_'s avatar
I would argue roguebook is the better game, however, if you are a trophy hunter the platinum is unattainable.
  34. Raeven1301's avatar
Roguebook is a nice little game, and Tales of Arise is excellent!
  35. Kristcobain's avatar
No ps1 / psp this month?

  37. Kaliban_27's avatar
Great stuff, really like Roguebook but performance was so bad on my switch so I'll start it again
  38. Gareth_Lewiss6w's avatar
Was literally going to buy NFS Unbound on sale for £11 on the PS Store. Will probably put that towards Stellar Blade instead
  39. Oxide2k's avatar
They took AC Valhalla out of it last year and have now returned it, lol.

    Year before

Been wanting to try Tales of Arise but not enough to buy it outright, so happy to get that. Outer Worlds I've completed on GP and it's great. Not too fussed about the rest personally.
    Gamblor64's avatar
Oh I just realised they announced Tales of Arise is coming to Game Pass too. Nice.
