This is like buying a Ferrari for your daily commute. You can tell people you have a Ferrari, it is capable of 200mph.....
But you don't need that speed, you likely just do 30mph like everyone else and this is a massively pointless upsell.
I'd go out on a limb and say 80% of people buying this speed never utilise it beyond pressing speed test and watching the numbers. (edited)

Alternatively you can run your address through BIDB.uk to see who's network infrastructure is available where you live.

Looks like now they capped me at 320 so need to make another phone call (edited)
Don't think they will lover the broadband price but you might get nice discount on the mobile + £3 off for having both broadband and mobile
Like others have said, the WiFi signal is terrible but we installed a mesh network.
Using the Deco M9+ and this is the speed I'm getting from my PC with one of the nodes plugged in via ethernet:
That's how we got £17 for Volt 350Mbps (200Mbps plus a boost for having O2 - Volt). Price locked for 18 months including no RPI increases.
The absolute highest speeds you'll get with that is 80Mb if all conditions are ideal.
Check out BIDB.uk to see if there are any other options for higher speed internet where you live if that's what you're looking for.
I've had vodafone 100mb for over 2 years now on CityFibre and have been happy, out of contract now.
Originally I signed up at £20/month, but now it's £31/month because of those horrible CPI increases and being out of the 24m contract.
I found Octaplus do 150mb for £21 a month, and as soon as I mentioned this to a service advisor that stuck with me for over an hour on chat, and they offered me 200mb for £21 a month to match it. They can't match any cashback deals. They also said that all signups since Feb 21st are rate locked until April 2025.
So, I was looking for 100mb at £28 plus £115 cashback, but now have 200mb for £21 with no cashback, but this works out £168 cheaper across 24 months (£53 cheaper excluding possible cashback), plus the CPI increase will be lower next April, and double speed.
Definitely worth chatting away to them if you can find other deals and aren't in contract.
they are two different price package at Vodafone site
Speed wise - seems fine, just tested and 940Mb down but only 400Mb up.
My connection has dropped out a few times late evening, not sure if this is them or my ASUS XT9 mesh routers, so I'll not blame Vodafone for this.
One thing to note is they have a weird routing system where you may not connect to the closest data centre, so you may be up north and routed to London and vice versa, this can affect ping times, although mines still fairly decent.
Customer service - woeful, an absolute shower, scripted, uninterested and technically incompetent. I was out of contract with them after about 40 days, had to use the complaints ombudsman due to the crap router. They didn't tell me this when my complaint was resolved, so I went from £29p/m to £32 p/m with £100 bill credit. No great shakes but they should have told me that's what they were going to do. I did thankfully get my PPPoE details quickly and easily via online chat.
Go with them by all means, but do so fully expecting to use your own router and the customer service being possibly the worst you can receive. (edited)
Faster BUT
The router wi-fi signal is ATROCIOUS (I mean nothing in the next room), now none of my smart gadgets (Alexa, doorbell, etc) work.
Their solution...weeks of phonecalls and wifi boosters..that haven't helped.
Run a mile.
the system quoted me 39 pounds per month for 900 fibre. (edited)
I spoke with them through chat - initial offer: £49 per month for 24 months
After showing picture from this topic - £29 per month for 24 months
Many thanks!
same price with only £60 cashback and no bonus cashback.
there is £20 voucher available but that still less than what current deal offers.
Thank you
lots signed up a year ago, I wouldn’t pay full price it’s not worth £60 odd pcm.
