Virgin media broadband

Hi all, my deal is coming to an end in March. The renewal price for the broadband and phone has gone up. Has anyone got any contact details for virgin media retention team?

Thanks

You need to call up on 0345 454 1111 and tell them you want to cancel. Give your 30 days notice to leave. The retentions team will give you an offer there and then. Take it if it's good. Otherwise refuse and as long as your account is opted in to marketing calls outbound retentions will call you. You can't contact them without being on their cancellation list first as your account won't be on their system as eligible for these deals.

Before you cancel, be sure to log in to your online account to look at the renewal offers too. Lots of people get pretty good offers there nowadays without having to call up.

i left 2 months ago, the retentions deals were not very good at all, hardly a deal to be fair.

i would in the meantime look for an alternative, it appears prices are higher now than they have been previously - as is with most things nowadays.

Good luck. It took me 3 entire days of sitting on the phone to get a crappy deal and then finally leave.
They used to be really good and was with them for 20 years but jumped to BT and then shortly after to Youfibre.

I always use the Whatsapp chat option, far less painless as you can carry on with life.

Not gonna lie, where I live, it's either Virgin fiber or 16Mb with anyone else, dreading my contract end date as I have literally zero leverage lol.

Why don’t you try data sim on a router? Could be cheaper and faster
