Great Expectations Kindle Edition

I have a mixed relationship with this author. A lot of people dislike his work, but as I sometimes point out, he set the truth in novel form, to document the social and economic circumstances of his time. Apparently, Dickens would treat reading his work as performative art, and thereby strained his heart considerably, eventually having to give up the process. His work meant that much to him. I think it still has relevance, uncomfortable though it may be.
