Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies . . .

Six interlocking lives - one amazing adventure. In a narrative that circles the globe and reaches from the 19th century to a post-apocalyptic future, Cloud Atlas erases the boundaries of time, genre and language to offer an enthralling vision of humanity's will to power, and where it will lead us.

I may have to buy this as Watched the film on prime last night, 3 hrs of not a clue what's going on or the point but enjoyable. I expect the book it much easier to follow. PS can recommend book the martian another film that misses out loads from the book which was brilliant, although i liked the film as well.

It is far easier to follow along as you read the novel. Luckily I read it before the film and I could see how confusing it would be. Beautiful, but still confusing.

And I absolutely loved The Martian as a novel! Like you said the film could only put so much in, reading the book is essential. Just hanging in there past the technical jargon and the story unfolds wonderfully

Read this a couple of years back. Excellent book. Just picked up this edition. Rude not to at this price.

I really struggled with this one. I finished the thousand summers of Jacob thingy and went for this next and it was just a bit 'out there' for my liking. Fantastic writer if not a little showy
