keeps your eyes peeled for cheapest_electricals on ebay, when they have 20% code. you get iphone 15 128gb for £550. bargain. as new.
    Paul_Johnsonhel's avatar
I agree. Got a pristine 14 pro 6 months ago. It was only 1 month old with 100% battery. Paid £650.

I bought the 14 pro max brand new from Apple directly in March 2023.

    Battery percentage is now 92%.

Regret my switch to Apple, don’t bother
    DeanoNI's avatar
No different from any top end phone then which generally take 2-3 years to reach 80% (the point at which battery replacement is suggested). Phones are often in heavy use daily and charged daily, not sure why battery degradation is a surprise?

To add to the data - my 13pro is 29 months old and battery at 87%.

I ordered yesterday and received today the iPhone 15 pro max, in excellent condition.

I’m impressed with the condition, only slight marks I can see are around the usb-c connector, screen is pristine, and to top it off, the battery health is 100%.

Thought I’d add some photos to help others…

    How much warranty left?

S24 ultra is by far a better phone thanks to it's superior tech, non reflective screen, and funky AI features. Iphone is junk. If you think S24U corners are too sharp, I thought so too, until I got it. Amazing screen and shape blows any rounded screen out of the water.

It’s a shame the os on Samsung is pants. That’s what keeps apple’s market share, it’s not so much about technical spec.
  6. dawsonz's avatar
Anyone ordered previously and able to give feedback on the battery health?
    etcuk's avatar
Even the heaviest user would be 2% a month unless it’s been used as a permanent hotspot, if it’s less than 90% there is a problem with it seeing as it’s only been out 4 months (edited)

I wonder what the battery percent is on a 'like-new' model.
    bguk37's avatar
My uncle just got a ‘very good’ 14 pro from giff gaff. No visible scratches or imperfections and battery health was 100%
  8. Adam458's avatar
I guess you don't get the original box and accessories with this?

    Nope

I have just cancelled a 256 pro max like new as well as returning another 256 like new pro max today, the one I returned was only one day into the apple warranty.

Just in case these phones appear on the website again for anyone that missed out.

I didn't like the screen brightness, it hurt my eyes / head regardless of settings.

Got a Poco F3 that the screen just seems better for my eyes.

Not sure what my next phone will be now, hopefully newer Pocos have the same type of screen as the F3 (edited)

How come the batteries always drop so fast in health now? I remember years ago they'd stay 100 percent for about a year and a half in and then start dropping. Now I look at my partner's iPhone 15 Pro Max and it is on 77% 9 months in and we took it to Apple and they said the battery isn't faulty and we'd have to pay.

I swear cause people aren't upgrading as fast, they've downgraded the life of the batteries.
    The2Time's avatar
The 15 pro max hasn't even been out for 5 months. Also just checked my 15 pro max and still at 100% health. You're either lying or confused about something.

Does anyone have an experience getting in "nearly new" condition, does it come in original box + accessories or in sny grade it still comes in a giffgaff box?
    The_G's avatar
They all come in giffgaff box
  15. bguk37's avatar
This is great price for the pro max. You are getting a refurbished 15 pro max for same price as the equivalent refurbished 15 pro. With 0% interest over 24-months this is a cracking deal.

Shame the pro max is too big for me, hoping they reduce the price on the pro

This iPhone has the most awful camera which is unbelievable. Now I am returning it. Has anyone noticed the iPhone 15 Pro Max camera? It's not even worth 200 pounds. Giffgaff's service was very good. I ordered at 11 pm it came the next day before 1 PM. I had doubts about it when I received it first now I know why they sent it so quickly. Maybe Giffgaff does good service like that but the whole reason I bought it is for the camera. The phone looks completely new but the camera looks worse than the iPhone 4. I was so excited about it. It made me very sad. I don't know if anyone having the same problem. I read the bad reviews about the cameras I wish I had done more research about it instead of believing those fake YouTubers reviews.
    MrBeginner's avatar
Don’t know what you’re talking about the cameras are better than the 14 pro max. Quality is good and shots look amazing on 24mp and tbh 48mp isn’t that much better. Telephoto works really well. You got a dud unit it seems.

Hi! Is there a bill available to you that shows the total monthly airtime + phone? Or are they completely separate?

Some very good prices here for the fruit lovers from a recognised supplier and you can return if not happy ♨️

Thanks OP, just bought for my business. they were cheaper than some of the ones i was looking on Ebay!
  22. TheBatshark's avatar
No interest in the deal itself from me, but what are Giff Gaff like with their grading? What these kinds of companies usually sell to the customer as ‘good’ would be a low grade C for trade in. CEX, for example, would pay you bottom end C money for a B phone and then try and flog it for A money.
    donmixes85's avatar
    I donno.
I bought a very good condition one at quiet cheap price..
No scratches battery is 99% and registered on 1st of november...

Got mine early this morning .

Looks basically new. 100% battery health with 80 cycles and warranty until October.

Can’t complain for £300 off and two years interest free payment.
    guli's avatar
Where do you check the battery cycles?
  25. proteuse's avatar
A bit update…Received the iPhone 15 pro max as ‘like new’ condition. Only one small mark at back if check carefully, battery 100%, 11 months warranty left, charge cycle is 1. Very satisfied
    MrBeginner's avatar
Can you still add Apple Care?
  26. quake.ee's avatar
Received mine today, haven't checked battery yet but physically looks brand new without any marks.
    MrBeginner's avatar
When was it activated? And what condition and price did you get it for?

Heat MrSwitch, have ordered a pink iphone 15 for the Mrs who's 13 pro is packing in - she can't tell the difference in phone refresh rates so I can save myself some moola!!! Would do my head right in though if it were me
    kisalman's avatar
Update: the gamble didn't pay off - I ordered "very good" on the basis that the screen would be pristine and it may have marks on the back/sides, but it turned out exactly the opposite of that! back and sides were pristine but the screen had two deep gashes in the middle left and there were numerous microscratches all over the screen. Makes you wonder what psycho used it considering the phone only came out 4 months ago

Will unfortunately have to be returned.
  28. friendlyfire321's avatar

This or Magic 5/6 pro as a replacement?
    vassy4u's avatar
if it's android similar to your previous device then either Honor M5/6 pro would do but if you moving to Apple then 15PM is good..

Do Giffgaff phones come with a VAT receipt?
    Mentos's avatar
Cheapest Electrical do. Everyone else seems to operate on the margin rate.

I presume it’s because the rest source from general public trade ins, whereas I believe cheapest electrical clears returned stock from Tesco Mobile (or some other company).

  35. IainEvans's avatar
to purchase you have ave to add the a 20 GB data £10 per month Monthly rolling plan, no contract.

then i plan to keep my existing contract, so i buy the sim then cancel/ not pay the monthly top up . would this be correct ??
    Savedotmoney's avatar
Cancel the sim and  get a refund.
  36. ravmania's avatar
I selected an option for No Plan.
    IainEvans's avatar
giffgaff newbie? You’ll need to buy a £10 plan (or more) to go with your shiny new phone.

This is what i am getting, so cancel sim is the only option

I purchased a 15 pro a couple of weeks ago from an individual seller on eBay. The battery life is horrendous. I wondered if anyone would know if the Apple warranty continues to be valid given that it was bought on eBay??
    adil171's avatar
Did you ask for the battery percentage beforehand ?

That’s the first thing you should do when buying a second hand iPhone from eBay.
  38. Coucu_Ch's avatar
Can you get AppleCare+ on those by any chance?
    donmixes85's avatar
    If you lucky inwas not(angel)
  39. JacksEcho's avatar
Very tempted by the plus at that price I bought a 13 pro max when the cheapest electrical deal was on the other week for £369 at 91% battery it’s immaculate except one deep scratch on screen Its still boxed I’m wondering whether to return it and order one of these instead - anyone had both? Or opinions as to what’s the better deal?
    ihih's avatar
I would suggest keeping the iPhone 13 Pro Max. My iPhone 13 Pro Max still going strong had it since release. Battery life at 85% still last all day. Performance is still really fast and smooth. I reckon with a battery replacement for me when it drops to 80% it will still last me another few years.
  40. LennyLeonard's avatar
I recently ordered a 15 Pro 128GB from Very with their 10% cash back bringing it down to £850 (and a further £62 Quidco tracked) and it will be arriving soon, but now I’m wondering if I should return it and go for the 256gb very good from this deal for essentially a similar price? Does anyone have experience with the very good quality? Or am I better off sticking to the brand new 128gb?
    vassy4u's avatar
Worth ordering and finding it out.. Returns are free and you won't have any issues if the item isn't up to your expectations
