    Bought one of these. Pretty plasticky and while it may stay in one piece for a long time I can see the finish getting destroyed quickly.

    Buy good vegetable tan leather from eBay and make your own. Get a £100 belt for £20 total

    I bought one about 12 years ago that is similar to this from the Levi's store (it was about £40 I think). I still use it more or less every day and it's still looking rather good if I may say so. Hopefully they aren't a poorer variety, but for the money and reported plastic feeling, it could be the case.

    Look out for any belt that says vegetable tan, everything else is solvent cured when you get yourself hideous and lightweight weak leather.
