I am in the process of helping specking out a gaming computer for my 11 year old.
I have allocated a budget of £1,300 (monitor is included in this price), but can go slightly over.
Part of him getting this machine, is he has done very well with his school, and I also want him to learn more about computer parts, and putting them together. Therefore, he is researching parts, and using PC Part Picker to help him decide on the parts.
I did tell him to allocate £200 for a monitor. However I have just saw this on the Amazon Warehouse Deals post:
LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor 27GN850-B
amazon.co.uk/dp/…172
It came in at £239.15, and I would really appreciate if this is a good price for a gaming monitor. It's 27 inch, but I would be happy with 24 inches plus. Is there a better monitor out there for him for around the same price?
