Cheapest way to get to Heathrow?

Uber is out of the question because it's going to cost us over £250 one way from Birmingham. Driving there would be the cheapest option, but I'm uncertain about the best place to park for four days? Does anyone have any good recommendations that are very close to Heathrow and cheap and safe? I appreciate everyone's help. Are there any discounts available too? Thanks everyone 🙏

Should look at official parking at least 1 calendar month in advance.
Don't forget to include the Khan tax if your vehicle doesn't meet the specs. That's another £25
There are websites where you can rent the use of a driveway.
For 4 days you could park for free in Sunbury and catch the 111.

Cheapest way? Well that would be by walking.

No idea where you're travelling to but were there no flights from Birmingham? As you are finding the cost of travelling to Heathrow, staying may be the night before and having such an early flight is costly.

Very costly we paid over £40 in the Premier Inn (virtually inside T4) a couple of weeks ago.

Coach would be much cheaper than that. A quick look at National Express shows loads of one way fares Birmingham coach station to Heathrow around £30-40 per person and some journeys are less than 3 hours. That is without any discount codes or cashback that may be available (edited)

Megabus. There are various times depending on the day There's one on a Sat for example that gets in at 2.40am (about the right time to get there for your flight at 5am). (edited)

Ask a family member or friend, preferably one who has an affinity for driving, to get you guys to Heathrow.

Offer to pay for fuel, even though the driver may decline accepting it, and provide sandwiches and refreshments for the journey, as well as for the driver's return trip. (edited)

OP say parking is £80 for 4 days. And his/ her flight depart at 5am, which means he/ she need to arrive around 2:30am.
Which friend/ family want to drive you 2 hrs to airport at midnight, then drive another 2 hrs back?
