Puncture on tyre. Should I repair or replace?

Hi all, i need some options.
I have a future on tyre.
The location is repairable.
But the tyre is 6 years old, left with about 4 - 5mm
So you think it worth repairing?
A new tyre that match the rest would be around £85.
Puncture repair probably £25...

That comment makes no sense, especially as the rear tyres are the most important especially if you were to have a blow out.
Most tyre makers recommend new tyres go on the rear axle and if you buy from Costco they insist on this for safety reasons.

Repair will be fine. Depends on your driving but 4mm will last at least another year.

You can get a kit on ebay for around £3 and do yourself. I've done two on mine in the last 3 years and they are still fine.
