Guinness has quite a short shelf life so would only get if planning to drink quick. You can get 4 for £7.16 s&s Amazon, I got 12 for £21
    JubilantPigeon's avatar
Shelf life is about 10 months. At 32 cans, that works out at less than 1 can per week

doesn’t this require the nitro surge device to pour it?

    that’s another £25
    JosephRedfern's avatar
Not if you've already got one. Do you complain about needing to buy a car when a fuel deal gets posted? (edited)

Surely better value to buy 48 cans for £72? Or is there a limit?

Update - yes case of 24 one is the limit unfortunately

Update 2 - they don’t deliver to Northern Ireland. (edited)

Worth pointing out that you get a £5 voucher with your order too so you can repeat the exact same order again (reduced 24 pack + 2 x 4 packs) but this time use the voucher… Works out at £51.50 so £1.60 a can/pint delivered. My garage is filling up lol! Bargain! ☘️

I just did this using the £5 voucher, time to give the credit card a rest for the day

That’s fine. Just showing the 24 is made up of 6 x 4 packs which it is. Mine came this morning

Courtesy of my cousin… try and leave them 24 hours to settle when they arrive. His first can sprayed all over 😝 Probs shook up a bit vs getting them from the supermarket where they have been sat for days. Luckily I had 4 already from a previous shop visit in the fridge… Happy Friday all!

Really good offer. I bought the Nitrosurge Device and 4 cans from The Bar and the cans have an expiry date of December 2024. Well impressed with the device and just bought this deal for £50. Happy days, thanks OP.

Has anyone done the pinhole trick with the normal cans?
    rikipedia89's avatar
Yes, works well. Drawing pin in the top of the normal 538ml cans, wait five mins for the gas to escape. Slap on the Nitrosurge and away you go

    Ordered with surger. Cheers!

Is Nitrosurge really that good? Will I get that same creamy pour that's in a pub?

I went into a pub last weekend that has the best Guinness in the city, in fact people actually travel miles for it too. I enjoy Guinness but usually have 1 in the pub right at the beginning as I find it too thickly afterwards, but I thought it was hearsay about it being the best pour in the city or even region. So I tried it in the pub, and wow it really was amazing. I could have pretty much drank it all day, it just was so creamy and right.

I've cut back on my drinking, so 32 cans is overkill but I'm seriously considering a nitrosurge the the occasional drinks at home.

There is a difference. Whether its as good as a pub pint is always debatable, but its certainly better than the usual out of the can affairs. At the price its a no brainer for me, I'll save my crate for after the summer.

It's also worth trying their West Indies Porter if you haven't. It's not creamy, stronger tasting and a different flavour profile, but a great alternative and usually is on an offer in the supermarkets or on Amazon.

Great deal. Cheers OP. Love my nitrosurge and given the cheapest pint of Guinness near me is £5.50 a pint this is a great price for a very similar end product.

How long does the nitro thingy last. Does it needs a gas refil or something or does it not work like that?
    neilbaldwin's avatar
    Author
No - charge by usb and lasts about 100 or more pours I think then just recharge (that’s probably a conservative estimate as well)!

I have found that a hard pour gives a perfect pint every time, is there some benefit to this I'm missing? Not stirring, just seems a lot of money Vs turning a can upside down
    neilbaldwin's avatar
    Author
I’ve done both. Hard pour doesn’t give the final pub like draught creamy top or dome. Yes you get a head… same way a can can give you a lager head but it’s just not the same (edited)

Strange Diageo don't deliver to Northern Ireland considering they have a very large depot here in the heart of Belfast
