Am on my 3rd citcular saw and 2nd multitool, just saying.

Also went through 3 x Multi-tools , before switching to Milwaukee!

However, I do have the circular saw, compressor, vacuum, torch, right-angle drill, workshop vac, strimmer, and a few other tools - all with no problems. (Just avoid the multi tool!)

The Reciprocating saw is a fantastic purchase especially for garden use , I use it alot for cutting through branches or cutting down small trees or through large roots.

I bought one of those "for makita" saws from ebay last week....£16 and it's a little cracker went right through loads of roots some about 4 inches thick.

Gotta advise against the multi-tool, I've had 3 die, one with less than an hour of use. It's been the switch every time aswell. Manufacturer replaced twice then refused the third time.

Better off with a refurb with the variable speed removed

Very tempted by the power file as it's such a useful tool but I'm running out of space to store my Ryobi collection!

    They have a power file?
    What have you done....💸

I purchased once from Ryobi and would never buy from them direct again.

I’d prefer to buy from somewhere like Amazon.

I found Ryobi’s aftercare to be really poor - I ended up filing a PayPal dispute which PayPal took in my favour.

    Dewalt versus Ryobi...(Opinions for a novice) ?
    Laskha's avatar
Dewalt everyday. Dewalt tools are more robust and repairable. Ryobi tools are basically disposable, I say that as an owner of almost a dozen Ryobi tools who has switched to Makita. Ryobi response to breakages is mostly to swap out the whole tool and I bin the original faulty one

Oh man i dont need any of these….i knew i should have stuck to taking a nap. Hopefully no one is home when the stapler and multi tool show up. (edited)

I really dislike it when companies up the rrp to make you think you are getting a good deal

    Solid find!

Scored a stapler, was looking at these a while back and thought it was too expensive for what is is but £60 is my biting point. Shame about the power scrubber being OOS.

It really pisses me off that they don't post to n.ireland even though their Service/repair depot is over here.

    They do indeed mate

Some tcb too .. around 4%
    Pixl8's avatar
How do you know which tools are in the 4% bracket?

The 3000 lumen torch is a great buy if you need something with the power of a car headlight and a 650 yard beam then there's little which can match this.
  15. ptrichardson's avatar
Thanks. £5 cheaper than the camelcamel lowest ever price on the multi tool

Bought Ryobi a couple weeks ago. EVRI is still saying the package has been delayed after it got to their depot :/
  17. ipodsandguns's avatar
Any one had their order confirmed?
    ptrichardson's avatar
Yeah, mine arrived on Saturday - Evri driver opened my door and left it in my porch!
Just opened it actually, working as it should so far.

And then add an extra £100+ for a basic battery and charger.

    Scrubber back in stock.

Is the RPD18 £60 combo drill a good deal? Or the £120 with 2x 2ah batteries?
