I need a new drill/impact driver for general DIY round the house. Assuming this will do thr job perfectly? Just need to pick up a battery and charger pack, unless there are better priced combo deals?

good enough drill,but if getting used regular the metal chuck gets worn easily and the drill bits can be a bandit to get out,needs grips instead of hand to get drill bits changed

How odd that Amazon will not post a battery to Northern Ireland, but they will post a drill with the same batteries included in the package (confused)

I needed a couple of these a few months ago for a project I was working on, and it worked out much more cost effective to just buy a second drill+driver set that included them - also got a second charger that way!

Are you suggesting there is a deal on the Dewalt circular saw too? I was goimg to buy the DCS391 from Screwfix, so would be really happy if this was also available from the USA.

Stuebarb the money I mentioned was all in including import tax which was £19.?? on my Multi tool which cost £68.14 + £11.?? shipping then the import tax taking it to £104 but it will have a little fluctuating due to the value of the pound again the dollar mine should have been £101.?? but due to the value of the dollar it rose slightly but as I said I would have paid £189.?? from Screwfix at the same time, you can now buy the Sander for just £71.00 in total from Amazon and they bring it in from Amazon US, for me it works as some of the Dewalt tools are way out of my financial reach, I can even buy the Dewalt 60 volt Flexvolt reciprocating saw for £99 + £13.?? shipping and I reckon the import tax will be around £25 to £28 max you try buying the UK Dewalt 54 volt Flexvolt reciprocating saw for a £140 delivered not a hope and you don't even need to buy Dewalt 9ah or 6ah batteries you can buy the far cheaper compatible batteries at a third of the price and they work. I'm buying the reciprocating saw before the 24th of June and I think I will buy the circular saw also although I just bought the Makita HS0600 290mm which is a big beast of a saw but I would have preferred a 304 hand held plug in to fit to a table. Thanks for your reply, just wondering how much customs charges you paid when ordering through eBay, just been looking on there for a Multi-Tool and quite a few us sellers post to the UK but I dont want to get stung in customs fees.

Stuebarb you find US retailer's selling 20 Dewalt tools quite regular although I haven't bought the reciprocating saw yet I will be between the 20th and 24th of this month as my Pensions all go into the bank around this time along with my wifes wages, I have bought the DeWalt 20volt MAX/XR 3 speed multi tool for £104 delivered when it was £189.99 at Screwfix and the DeWalt 20volt MAX/XR Random Orbital Sander for £87 when it was £154 at Screwfix obviously both from the States the multi tool came via the retailer on Ebay and the sander via Amazon US import you save a lot of money this way and they work perfectly on 18 volt XR batteries and if you're unsure about using 18volt buy compatible 20 volt batteries and a 20 volt charger with a UK plug meaning it works on 220/240 AC rather than 110/115 AC but make sure the buffoons that sell you the batteries will send you 20 volt and not 18 volt like they did to me and beg you to take the at a discount same with the charger sent a 18volt charger ended up with it for free gave it to my son as I have 2 DeWalt chargers already I even gave him the 2 18 volt batteries as I got them both for £36 instead of £52 I already have 8 18 volt XR batteries so he is just starting on Dewalt tools it will help to start with.
