    was thinking of getting one of these but having to pay £70-80 each year for a new filter has put me off.

    Agree. Another issue is even if you're willing to fork out the yearly filter cost, dyson don't always have them in stock so you find yourself looking at ebay and risk getting a fake

    This is an air multiplier anyway. Approx 14x volume of air is induced to pass through unfiltered from behind through the big ring, only a small amount of air is filtered through the base up and out of slot in the circle/oval ring

    Put this in front of a dust/smoke source and you'll simply get blasted with it.

    To be fair, we've had ours for a few years. Barely use it, but was great in winter just to heat room up as it was quicker than relying on radiators.

    This was my “ refurbished on eBay “ that arrived on Saturday… I was aware it may have marks on it but really :/ lol
    I can’t unsee these deep gauges. Although it looks great in my room it’ll probably have to go back unless they offer a reduction of some kind
