Introducing, Sefte®. Meaco’s latest air circulator has been re-designed from the ground up to give you more air, less noise, and less energy.

Ideal for use in every room in the house, the MeacoFan Sefte® 10” Table Air Circulator has been precision engineered by Meaco’s UK design team for optimum cooling, working quietly, efficiently and with more control than ever before.

  • Ultra-quiet from 25 dB
  • Runnings costs from 0.1p. That’s just 4p per 24 hours!
  • Air Beam Precision provides six oscillation zones for targeted cooling
  • Glow-in-the-dark remote control for easy adjustment at night

The latest in air circulation technology, and designed with everyday use in mind, Meaco have listened to customer feedback and introduced brand new design features to make your life easier. These include better fan speed control, glow-in-the-dark remote-control buttons for easy operation at night, and a Night Mode to keep things quiet and dim whilst you sleep.

The high-efficiency DC brushless motor spins at over 1450 RPM using as little energy and creating as little noise as possible. Noise levels starting from just 25 dB. The signature deep draw blade propels 1150.80 m³ of air per hour projecting air further across your room for more powerful cooling.

The Air Beam Precision oscillation options means you have complete control of airflow both night and day. Set your Sefte® to operate within narrow, medium, or wide zones. Air Beam Precision was designed to enable targeted cooling no matter the situation.

I bought the pedestal version of this new Sefte this week, it's really good. Somehow even quieter than my old Meaco. Don't think I could move away from their fans these days without it being something special, nothing else seems like it comes close.

When compared to the old version, which one would you prefer? Which one works better in your opinion?

Terrible customer service from Meaco. I bought the pedestal fan last year for £130 from Argos and unfortunately the central panel that holds the remote fell off. I rang Meaco who told me to stick it back using glue... I reminded them how much I had paid for the fan and that level of service was very poor. The fan was returned back to Argos for a refund. To be fair if they had collected it refurbished it and sent it back

They probably would of stuck back with glue.....

Looking on Amazon there appears to be a lot of "clones" with similar design as this. £100 seems quite steep for a fan, we might not even get a summer again this year lol.

Can it be controlled via your smartphone?

    no.

Has Meaco increased the warranty on these too? As didn't the old ones have a 2 year warranty?

    2600 Watt? Lol guess that's a mistake?

Yes, should be 8-26 Watts I think

    Yes but not £100+ good

Wonder if they've fixed the irritating feature where the temperature doesn't re appear once you're actually using the fan which I assume is common across all meaco fans

I got a different make clone last year and it's the same as our meaco so assume they all use the same chip from china (edited)

Just got mine and can confirm the temperature stays on the display while in use.

    £100 for a fan...

The best fan by a country mile in our collection is this one - sadly not available anymore as far as I can tell. Cost us £100 in 2018...

The speed dial is great feature and it's still whisper quiet 6 years later - it could argued that 35 speeds is OTT but 9 of them are in sleep mode which is super quiet. The current ecoair fans aren't the same as this one which IIRC was made in Germany and isn't actually ecoair branded, a Google lens search shows the same fan from other brands but none in stock

Got mine yesterday, shifts air like nothing else I’ve had, and noticeably better than the previous model (1056)

For £100+ it needs to cook your evening meal as well!
