TV mount

I have a TV mount spare in the house. I want to put my son's TV on his wall. The mount doesn't swivel or tilt. Is there any way to give it a little bit of an angle towards where he watches it from. Was thinking a block of wood on one side or something but no idea if this would work. Any advice would be great

Could try some shims/spacers between the TV and the mount when you screw the TV part of the mount to the back of the TV, wouldn't add much but might be enough depending on how much angle you want to add

Ty didn't think of putting spacers there was thinking of between the bracket and the wall. Maybe I could try both to add a bit extra

Bear in mind that if your screws aren't long enough you're introducing instability (even with long screws they'll be at an odd angle relative to the mount) - if it's not too big a TV that shouldn't be an issue, but it will be for heavier TVs.

If it was me I'd probably make a large wooden wedge (at the angle you want), secure that to the wall and mount the bracket/TV on the flat side of the wedge. (edited)

Or just buy a bracket suitable for the tv

Just buy one fit for the job, they are not expensive.

I wouldn't try and change the angle the screws go into the TV.

Mounting the bracket to a tilted frame should work fine.
