Heated - nice bonus for nothing ;) The cables' cheapest ebay counterparts will total £5. Oh - credit to @Morpheus78 for the deal ;) https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/47521581
Not bad!
Seems like it's not even a 2.1 HDMI cable so will be worse than the one the console comes with

I have this telly and love it
Nice deal for 77 oled with 5 year warranty and 120hz. No evo panel on this but still a great deal
I didn’t know that! I wonder why
Afaik nearly all brands use a 2.1 as the eArc when there's only 2
Ahh… that was a poor choice from LG as I doubt the soundbar needs 2.1 for anything else

? I’m signed into VIP the price is £1149? And it cannot be added to basket as it’s out of stock online.
Richer sounds
This has the non-custom master panel without the heatsink. Where can you get the 65” for £50 more?
You can still get the 65inch for £50 more, much better deal. This TV is also £899 ok Richer Sounds
Masterpanel is only in the JZ1500 / 2000 with the heatsink, would only buy these models.

VWRHar was last one I bought
You can still mention store name and product, just not link to it
Has to be a reputable seller otherwise Mods remove it
It is likely removed for reasons beyond me.
You only shared one hdmi switch which was £14 recently. Looked all your deals you’ve posted for 10+ years but nothing.

I take your point but I have to say I’ve never heard anyone say it’s not bright enough. In fact I tried Googling “Ambilight brightness” and all I find is posts of people trying to turn the brightness down! So perhaps the light strip is just overkill anyway?
I hear you, but the ambilight has about 5 tiny led on a 50" TV side. Versus a gradient lightstrip and sync box 🤷🏼♂️
Govee is a decent budget alternative but I absolutely hated the camera module that you have to stick at top or bottom of TV in order for the strips to work. It’s definitely not as discrete and just not as seamless at this Philips option which unfortunately is very expensive .
I have a 75” gradient light strip on a 77” tv and it looks great. I do have two extra hue play bars at the bottom corners of the tv but they aren’t necessary.
Because people keep paying what they ask for it 🤷♂️

Would this be eARC compatible?
would this cable be ok with sky q box?
They funnily enough don't rate the cables the same way they rate the socket, so actually no such thing as a hdmi 2.0 or 2.1 cable. This is likely a hdmi premium cable, so max support of 4k 60hz: tripplite.com/products/hdmi-cable-types
the pic shows 24k goldplated connectors, but once you get on the site to buy they display nongold connectors only. Which some buyers will be annoyed with when they arrive.
Great price, going to buy a few. Worth noting it's hdmi 2.0 so I don't think it would be any good for next gen consoles but fine for most other things.

Last one 75inch same price Free headphones and £100 gift Voucher https://www.box.co.uk/LG-NanoCell-NANO91-75-4K-Smart-TV-with-_3608385.html (y)

Is this expired? Shows 944.10 for me
Agreed
Exactly the same as me, double snap lol. I had a Sony 9005, absolutely faultless TV if you didn't need the android OS. Went and had a look in Currys to buy the X90j. Wasn't impressed and the Samsung Q80 next to it looked so much better. In fact the Q60 behind the Sony looked better on their 4k feeds. Which only gave it 59% but other tech reviews are good. Could be a settings issue or just the way that Samsung make their TV's pop in 4k. I did read another thread on here that the X90 needs setting up and they are not going to do that in shop. I had to so the same with my QN94 as although it was ok on HDR content, SDR wasn't too brilliant. Looks great now with some SD programmes looking more like HD.
Snap. Based on reviews this was top of my list and was just waiting for the right price. But then I saw it in store and was *really* disappointed with it. Viewed in 3 locations to make sure it wasn't a settings/content issue but just seemed very flat. Saw a deal on Samsung QN95 and jumped at it - seemed a whole different level up from the Sony. I think this is a good price but would really recommend seeing it in real life before ordering.
A good price. I had this on my shopping list for a while but bought the QN94 instead.

It might just be a currys exclusive with physical cosmetic changes. Anyhow, overall Sony lead on OLED PQ. No idea about the gaming lag but with certain games the accuracy(esp with HDR) helps vs LG.
A84 has a bump in colours displayed. Without trying to sound super technical a colour accelerator something (:I
Sony BRAVIA XR65A80JU and Sony BRAVIA XR65A84JU - Both of these models are available at same price at Curry's. Can someone please suggest any difference between these two?
Does the A80/90 suffer from any black crush issues like the C1? I feel like I’m constantly playing around with the settings on different sources and content to get something I like. Also what’s your preferred HDR method when using a PS5? I prefer HGiG as it seems more natural to me but again, the presentation can be overly dark at times.
If a PS5 gamer and two 2.1 HDMI will do then this TV blows the C1 out of water . I owned a CX previously which I sold for the 55 AJ90 due to ABL and extra brightness of Sony and quality of picture still blows me away. VRR now available these TVs and on the PS5 so even on gaming these a80j which I tested a lot and a90j TV is a lot more compelling. Input lag is perfect no issues whatever. The C1/Cx are solid TVs but the picture quality is just beautiful on these Sonys

All yours mate (y) 😃
You should post the deal as it's a good one. I'm happy to if you don't want to.
All ordered... Thanks for the recommendation 😃
Nice! That's what price it was when I bought it for my parents. Don't forget the 20% topcashback to. Also, I would council against stepping up to the 316 that is also on offer. The 216 soundbar is different than the 316. Much better as far as I'm aware. So the better option would be to get the 216 and then add a subwoofer in the future if you feel it needs one. I'm really impressed with the bass in the 216 though.
Its actually £149 at Currys at the moment.... I'm thinking of getting it...

We live in an age where I can’t be arsed to lift my arm to point a remote at a receiver. Truly this is the most enlightened and prosperous age.
Thanks for highlighting this, I missed the section stating that it was IR on amazon
You need an IR repeater (check link below) Mice and controllers can use infrared but mainly bluetooth (and now BLE) or wireless radio (often with a little dongle). In this case the remote is infrared and does require line of site to the Xbox. If that's not possible you can use an IR repeater. I found it towards the bottom of the description above: (I also checked their site for doubly sure) "Compatible with Xbox Series X,Xbox Series S and Xbox One. Connectivity: Infrared" Here's an example of an IR repeater. It's was the first result when I searched for it but I've not used it before IR Infrared Remote Control Extender Repeater Cable (10 Feet) - IR Signal Receiver & IR Emitter Blaster Extension Cable Wire Cord USB Powered System Kit Product description This IR repeater extension cable can extend the range of a remote control. This IR repeater cable lets you store your equipment out of sight, yet still operate it with its infrared remote control. The kit includes an IR receiver with a 6 foot cord, which you need to place so that you can point your remote control at it. The receiver then transmits the signal to the repeater, which relay it out to the transmitter bulb that should be placed over the IR "eye" on your component.
I've not seen any mention of IR I think it connects to the console like a standard controller, I'm not sure, not tried it myself, I've got the controller, waiting for the console to be delivered.
That's what I was thinking but then what about a mouse pointer? Guessing you'd need the infrared stuck to the centre bottom of the screen

I have this one and does the job.In fact the Mrs keeps telling me to turn the volume down.
Is not only you get a sub, this has Dolby Atmos too, which is the 'main' selling point. Well, if you can call it Dolby Atmos, as DA is poor on soundbars. It does have Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. I have the next model up, Q700A which is slightly better and has eArc. DA is not great (considering I've paid £400 for mine on sale) but adding rears made a difference. Without rears, I think most soundbars are not great for DA. You can add rears to this one, cheaper rears than on Q700A. The difference is you'll have a module in between the rears, and cables to connect. On Q700A, the rears have no module, but they have power cables. At this price, even it is the bottom DA model, this is a bargain.
Does this soundbar have stuff like Dolby Atmos and DTS. Wouldn’t that be better to read the meta data in the audio files. Dolby is everywhere now , movie downloads , blu ray and Netflix etc
Seems like a good bargain to me. I have 2 Samsung soundbars - one of them is 3.0 and I've been absolutely delighted with it since day one. To get a subwoofer as well for less than what I paid? Steal.
Good quality however it disconnects via hdmi alot and even fails to connect. More dependent on working with Bluetooth

Has gone up in price now by about £30
Hot from me 🔥

OOS :( Thanks though!

Finally went for it
Purchased 😁
Thanks mate (y)
Thanks, tempted by the Q600A at that price. Biggest advantage of them compared to the Polks IMO is they can be upgraded with wireless rear speakers (SWA-9100S).
This looks good. I am tempted but before I take the plunge. Does anyone know of any good sound bars priced £100-£150? Obviously won't be as good as this but I thought I'd ask.

4K@30Hz.
did think, this could be, what was i was after. as have 2 usb-c hubs. plus a ssd M.2 Enclosure' also usb-c. yet only one C port on the PC. so still looking for a way to have it all. without to much cost Can you replace the internal ssd with a new or is it a seal unit? Answer: No, you can't replace the internal SSD. It's a sealed unit. so pass from me. but hot for the deal
JFYI, it has been cheaper recently so might be worth waiting if not desperate...

Only the budget ones that won't last. It still costs a reasonable amount to make a quality product (eg Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, Sharp).
43" TVs seem to be getting cheaper & cheaper.
Wow, there’s a lot of junk in that trunk!
I'd watch it (if I were you!)
Code didn't work for the wife but did for me. So it's my Tele, not hers lol.

the no postage to northern Ireland really winds me up - especialklky after researching products
This or the Polk S4? Looking to buy today.
This morning I bought 2 more at the price with the code. Will be returning the one I bought for £150
I bought it. Very good value for money
Polk make some great stuff (y) Ticks a lot of boxes for £119!
