Selling phone to musicMagpie

Hi all

Has anyone sold their iPhone to musicMagpie ? I’m thinking about selling mine but I can’t see what they will accept with regards to battery health as mine is on 79% and don’t want them to refuse it as it’s under 80%

As above, they will grade as poor even if everything else is good. It happened to me with an otherwise perfect iPhone 11.

I rejected the requote so it was returned, and sent to another company who gave a lot more for a "poor" condition device.

I've used one of their machines, has to be on, they scan the IMEI number, then it locks it in the machine and someone comes and fetches it end of the day/week.

I got the money within ten minutes via bank transfer.

If you sell to MM take it to one of their in shop kiosk units where they can inspect it and pay you there and then. Otherwise, avoid like the plague.

Any ideas how the kiosk works ? Does the phone need to be on, factory reset etc any info appreciated

Has to be factory reset yeah as the machine locks it away if you accept there price

They pay less now Iv noticed . Iv sold them in Asda machines they have at the entrance. 79% is under their guidelines

Try the kiosk as mentioned in Asda... Get your quote on MM first, and select the kiosk option.
They check it there and then, takes less than 10 mins and you get it straight back if no good.

They charge a fairly substantial amount to use the kiosk now (about £20 on a £200 phone)
