sorted byThat said, have a look up for a decent security expert - many of whom do podcasts and/or presentations online - and they will tell you that the need for things like this is largely obsolete, in that most serious criminals haven't operated this way for many years. It is 1000x easier for them to simply manipulate an QR code and place malware on it. This is very easily done with minute pixels and therefore impossible to see with the naked eye, and impossible to trace.
Then, anyone who scans a QR code in public without thinking, will have absolutely no idea that anything is wrong. the QR code will function as normal, unlock the bike, or bring up the web page, or whatever else, that the person is expecting to happen. Only they have given visibility of their phone keystrokes, to a bad actor somewhere, zero indication anywhere on your phone that anything is untoward.
