Most people aren't aware, but PressReader is completely free via your local library's subscription. Takes 5 min to join online if you have a free library card. You get such a wide range of magazines free, from What HiFi to the Economist, almost every UK local newspaper, and many international ones such as the WSJ. (edited)

It is £22.46 if you choose the 12 month Magzster Gold.

‘Readly’ usually have 3 months free

Then once you quit they usually offer £1 for 3 months or something similar

Really very rarely have 3months free. Two at a push. Their offers if you want to leave tend to be £4.99 a month. (edited)

Great deal, thank you. Signed up for this last night. I had stopped reading magazines as they became so expensive over the years. Just a sub to one magazine would be more than this. So great bargain.

It also seems to work great on my tablet. I like how you can favorite all the magazines you are interested in.

I just read magazines via my library - doesn't cost a penny!!

My Library reduced their service. We used to use a service called Libby which was decent enough, but the swapped to another service which is much worse called BorrowBox and very few popular magazines are available through this service.

I got a 3 year code from Australian Groupon for Magzter a while back for this price and I think it's still got about a year to run. I never use it thought. For something like this I think you appreciate it more if it's on a tablet and I don't have (or want) one. (edited)

There's a family sharing add-on for an extra charge. Anyone seen that option on this deal?

Says Promo code cannot be used?

What's the verdict on this? I know I can do the library app stuff but interested in reviews for this? Seem decent :/

Personally, I wouldn’t be without it. Depends entirely on what you read though. Subscription shared with the rest of the family too with an extra payment.
