The base notes grab your attention with the sweet combination of powdery amber, spicy vanilla and slightly caramelised benzoin, permeated with accords of dry wood and bitter labdanum.

** A word of warning to anyone looking at buying Asad from these cheap eBay sellers **

There are many fake bottles Lattafa Asad being sold on eBay. Mine arrived few wks ago (seller saga_601764) and it clearly was a fake, even though they've done a decent job of replicating the original bottle. Look at the lion on the bottle and you'll see the gold/black colours are inverted. The packaging has made in P.R.C!!

The quality of the fragrance is awful, nothing like a genuine Asad and it lasts for 20/30 mins max!

eBay stepped in and I received a full refund.
