Car problems - any mechanics

Hello can anyone help?

On Friday my car wouldn't start. I got help to push start it and then it started.

Saturday it wouldn't start and I took battery of and charged.

Sunday it started first time with recharged battery

Today again it will not start

It's new battery? Or could be alternator?

Take it to Halfords & get a free battery check, i reckon it's probably the battery or alternator.

You can buy a battery/alternator tester that plugs in cigarette lighter cheap

It could be the battery, the alternator or a current leak. You'd need a multimeter to test any of these.

Sounds like you have a parasitic drain somewhere. If it is fine with a fully charged battery but then the car drains it something somewhere is switched on whether you want it or not!

How long did u drive for on Sunday and how many times did u start it?

Started about 6/7 times after and drove about 25 miles in total. Give the car a good run

Today I've been and bought new battery from eurocarparts. I've started to hear but whining noise from belt/alternator sometimes

Do you think he needs to go on a diet?

Sounds like the alternator is not charging the battery, as above it could just be something as simple as the alternator belt slipping or broken. (edited)
