Just starting to gather components to build another PC and haven't really fully looked in to SSD's at this point. Things have moved on a little since I built my last PC 8 years ago. Is this a decent option for a bootable drive?

Any NVMe is, just buy the cheapest one is my advice. You are paying PCIe 4.0 tax to get 1TB. If you only need 1TB get a £38 drive, quite a few deals on here.

I opted for this as a bookable drive and for my games. Bought in Januaty 2023 and so far so good. Does the job.

This is the fastest so probably this. But I went from a 3500mbs to a 7000mbs and did not notice a difference in boot times.

Will this fit into the second slot of the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro Gen 8 2023 laptop?

If it does, do I need to purchase anything like like thermal paste?
