Loads of posts on reddit and amazon about high failure rate of this particular model.

The majority of issues seem to be PS5 owners, so maybe they should look elsewhere.
Failure rate for PC users looks to be no worse than other good, more expensive drives. (edited)

Damn is this the first premium 2TB 7000+ MB/s drive with a heatsink and DRAM cache to go below £100? Hot! (edited)

Very nice, I paid about £220 for mine over a year ago.

I've never heard about TechNextDay. Their address is "Unit 3, Landerry Industrial Estate School Lane Selsey Chichester Sussex PO20 9ER" but Google Maps doesn't show them at all. Are they a broker, drop shippers?

I'm not sure but they do sell a lot on ebay and have pretty decent feedback on there. I don't like their own website though as I couldn't see a paypal option.

Great price for the 2tb, 4tb price looks ridiculous in comparison.

    The wait continues

Got mine in my ps5 since it was updated to support additional drives and never had an issue....

To add to the issues people are raising on here, I do suspect some people have installed it into the ps5 without a heatsink or added the metal cover back on- it does come with a heatsink but it looked rubbish.

Buy a heatsink for like £8-10 and you'll most likely have better cooling for ps5 (edited)
