sorted byEdit - I had an after though to this, I also think that the style of horror has been heavily duplicated and parodied over the years too, making it appear cliche and even corny. If you watch this now, it probably looks a bit daft, yet in the context of its release was groundbreaking. (edited)
As for the Exorcist,I'm almost 50 years old and wanted to see it for the longest time whilst it was banned.
Apart from "that" crucifix scene I wasn't shocked,horrified or frightened in the least,perhaps though it could've never lived up to it's infamous reputation.
I managed to snag the UCE from Zavvi this morning.

Funny you mentioned this movie because someone else mentioned it to me today aswell. I've never seen it so will try and get hold of the DVD.
