AmazonBasics Deluxe Microfiber Car Wash Mitt, 2 Pack

Clean vehicles by hand quickly and safely with help from the AmazonBasics Deluxe Microfiber Car Wash Mitt. In combination with an appropriate soapy solution, the plush mitt provides a powerful, yet gentle, clean of a car’s complete exterior. The large mitt measures 30 by 20 cm, which means it can cover more surface area in less time.

Super Absorbent

The microfiber car wash mitt absorbs seven times its weight in water, which means it can carry ample suds from bucket to vehicle, helping to reduce time spent going back and forth and promoting a better, more thorough wash. With a single dunk in the soapy-water bucket, the mitt will accommodate one whole side of a car, truck, or SUV. The mitt can also be used without water for swift drying—its microfiber material soaks up water fast.

Elastic Wrist Cuff

Thoughtfully designed, the microfiber car wash mitt features an elastic wrist cuff, which helps keep it in place. Simply slide either hand into the mitt like a mitten, and wash your car from top to bottom. The mitt’s elastic wrist cuff helps keep the mitt comfortably in place on your hand.

I paid £5.10 for this 2pk in December 22. They work well but when full of water they're heavy and loose fit on a medium hand. You can hold them just as well. (edited)

Decent mitts for the price. You’d be spending more than double for something a bit better. (edited)

tbh i would rather use a sponge. these can hold dirt and grit residue so you can scratch your car so be careful to full clean in throughout washing. i’m speaking from experience as a bodyshop i deal with dumped these

Yeah, I bought these as my first mitts this summer after seeing the mitt style recommended and they area heaaaavy when laded with water.

Are the more expensive ones like that?

Made me wonder how well they were rinsing grit off in the bucket too.

foam wash car first to get rid of as much dirt as possible. then use a bucket with grit tray to help. some people use two bucket method but never seen the need with a grit tray

I'm not a big fan of the microfibre noodle mitts. They get too heavy and struggle to stay on your hands. The Meguiars ones are great, and whilst more expensive I have been using a pair for over 5 years and I wash my cars a lot!

Can you give me the link please because I want to make sure I get the exact ones you're talking about.

Possibly a cheaper alternative to the microfibre dog drying gloves I was looking at, got them for £5.81 with max S&S discount. (edited)

I purchased mine back in early 2020 and it’s still going despite regular use.
MUCH better than a sponge, just ask any real detailer or see on YouTube what many professionals are using and it isn’t a sponge This picks up dirt really well and when used with the two bucket method and grit guards you can see the amount of crap its picked up in the bucket to rinse the mitts compared to the still clean water in the bucket with the soap.
