About this item
  • Cleans automotive glass to a streak-free shine
  • Repels rain by causing water to bead up and roll away
  • Fast and easy to use – just spray on and wipe away with no buffing required
  • Helps prevent and remove sleet, snow, ice, bugs, and road spray from sticking to glass
  • 2-in-1 product, enhances driving visibility
  • During the harsh winter months with excessive rain, snow and ice the product will quite obviously not last as long as it does during the summer and will need to be re-applied more frequently

Great if the majority of your driving is out on open roads at a reasonable speed, but if you spend a lot of time with urban speed limits it can be a nightmare, at least it was for me. And it takes some shifting if you want to remove it.

It's also quite difficult in winter months, when your windscreen freezes you just have loads of huge blobs of ice rather than a sheet covering which is easier to scrape I find.

But motorway driving it's amazing for

I'd love to know what's in this and how bad it is for environment, considering it'll be constantly getting washed off, onto our roads and back into water ways

Can this be used on visor’s

Can not see why not, Bob heath visors used to do something similar, maybe research it tho, I might try on an old visor,

I wouldn't bother with this stuff tbh, get a normal bottle of rain-x and it lasts way longer.

brilliant stuff to use either on top of RainX or just on it's own -- just be sure to use two clean micro fibre cloths -- one to apply and one to buff off

Agreed, if you use the same one it seems to smear very easily. Also worth doing the actual wiper blades.

Found it a bit crap tbh. Didn't last long enough.

Bought in the hope that it would keep my reverse camera clean during the rain. It did not.

Seems to be a good price for 2in1, but for those that have used this before and the original rain-x version, is it worth getting the 2in1 or just sticking with the original rain-x?

Im guessing the original should last longer on the windscreen, but then again, if the cleaner is included maybe the product sticks better to the cleaner streak-free class

I like the idea of the spray bottle though, as it must be easier to apply. The original rain-x bottle usually leaks and can cause wastage when applying.

Used Glaco set, really good applicator process and great repellency but 35 quid it’s rather more expensive
