How does the X90L stack up against the 3 year old OLED A80J?? Looking for a new 55 inch and wondering if I’ll be happy with the X90L. Thanks

The brightness on the X90L will be an improvement over the A80J. But the contrast would be a downgrade. The X90L still a very good TV regardless. (edited)

Phenomenal TV. Wouldn’t mind moving back from an OLED to this LCD.

Wonder how much the X95M would be improved since LCDs are now Sony’s main focus. (edited)

Stunning tv. Had the chance to use one for a while and nothing else comes close other than some QD oleds or the g3 range, yes it’s that good.

Shame they don’t have the 85inch for sale. (edited)

I watched Blade Runner (Final cut version) on this TV last night …. Stunning!

It was like watching it for the first time and I was really impressed with how well it dealt with the contrasty scenes. I could see amazing details in the shadows that I hadn’t seen before … and I’ve seen this movie well over 10 times now!

Hardly spent any time faffing with settings - custom mode was an excellent base profile to start with

Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a solid 65 inch at a great price (edited)

Anybody have an opinion this Sony vs TCL C805K vs TCL C845K? Apart from the price, the TCLs have great reviews even if the Sony seems to have superior image processing

I had the TCL 65C745k returned and got the 65C805k. The 805k wasnt any better, the features are nice like 4k 120hz with DolbyVison and VRR.... Also warranty from TCL was useless still waiting for them to come fix it even though i returned it to the store in the new year.

I got the Sony XR65X95LU back in Jan should have got that from the start other than wasting my time the TCL junk. The Sony is far Superior in image quality and everything just works.

Brilliant deal - hadn't realised the cost of a Costco membership was over £60 but even with this additional cost it's still the best price I've seen for this TV.

Excellent price,I would get this over a Oled the black levels on this TV almost match any Oled I have demonstrated the a80L And x95L with same image And most people prefer the brighter image of the mini LED, this TV's sound comes out the Frame it's amazing, the XR processor brings in so much detail and depth in to any scene,at this price it's bargain

This is the best led TV you can get, Sony 2024 range is pushing the mini LED TVs over Oled this year it's that good, (edited)

I'm surprised you'd pick this over an oled. I saw this in costco and while very good, I felt oled is still superior in contrast levels. I'm still hoping the A80L goes on offer.
