1kg will last up to 10 seconds. What can you extuinguish with that!?
    ToxicHazard's avatar
More than you could with 0kg. Just buy an extinguisher appropriate to your needs, this is better than nothing.

For anyone who (like me) thought this could be a nice little safety device for the kitchen, take note that dry powder extinguishers are not for "all fires" as this listing suggests.

Where should you not use a dry powder fire extinguisher?
    • Kitchen fires that involve cooking oil
    • Fires within enclosed spaces

But it can be used against gases and petroleum, so this is clearly a travel extinguisher and not something you should freely use at home.

So this is suitable to keep in my car then?

Good price, shame about the mess these extinguishers make.

I would assume a bit less than a burned down house

Will it stop EV fire? Asking for a friend
    quincemeister's avatar
No, you need a lake to submerge the EV in.

Is this A Naf fire extinguisher or a good one?

Well they can't spell corrosion so make of that what you will

A 'non blue' dry powder extinguisher concerns me

Why would you need a fire extinguisher in your car ? We all have insurance that covers again fire damage. And what’s the probability your car will catch fire ?
