The annual price rise should be factored into these deals

Buy the phone direct from apple with 0% interest and and get a sim only deal, much better flexibility and offers on sim deals.

Pay £850 for the phone alone instead of £779 over 2 years? Good advice 🏻

At least by paying as much up front as you can afford it negates the effect of any in contract price rise, which imo should be stopped by Ofcom

Any discount codes to bring the upfront cost down?

I'll be amazed if there are any

You can't get the O2 loyalty discount on these contracts, they're standard contracts and not refresh contracts apparently.

Because its a standard contract, you can"t move the airtime to a better tariff either, without paying the balance of the phone off, which is understandable but very restrictive.

The April price increase was or is on your monthly payment amount rather than just your airtime agreement.

Just moaning really, we've currently got 3 of these contracts, can't afford to get out of 'em either

Is this for new customers only or would they honour as an upgrade?
    chrb's avatar
Doesn't work for upgrades. You need to leave and rejoin

Are you able to buy out the remaining of your contract before a price rise?
