I bought a 256gb 14 pro max and a 14 128gb last week, both“as new”. The Pro max arrived last Wednesday and was immaculate, 100% battery health and looked brand new. The 14 arrived on Saturday without the charging cable, a chip on the rear Edge and small but visible surface scratches.
    Both have 100% battery health.
The pro max was new in June and the 14 was new in April (checked the serial numbers).

You have a 30 day money back no quibble returns policy so I would say it’s a bit hit and miss but if you’re not happy simply return it.

    Hope this helps

What has been people's experience of "As good as new"? Does that relate to the physical condition or the health of the battery? Are these just open box items?
    jesty's avatar
I bought a good as new iPhone 13 a few months ago from here. Perfect condition, 100% battery health, came with the official box and all the inserts.

The images on the website which show the typical condition of “good condition”
    aren’t great! (edited)

I think their good is a C condition. (edited)

Are prices likely to drop in a few weeks when the iPhone 15 is released? Or is this already priced in? Thx

Prices have been dropping, the 14 pro was more expensive a couple weeks ago for example

..maybe I'm missing the deal here, but even at second hand prices this seems an absolute rip off for something to run mobile apps and keep in touch with folk :/ :/

Honestly I'd love to be convinced otherwise but my £159 Poco F3 does the same stuff, runs the latest apps and takes brilliant pictures so I'm lost why this is any better.

Been waiting for the iPhone 15 to release as stuck on the 11pro, but would have jumped at this
  13. Mujahid_Ali's avatar
These will drop like hotcakes soon when the 15s out with the USB C charger
    Crazy-Climber's avatar
Not sure they will seeing the iPhone 13 Pro is £60 less so there isn't a heck of a lot of wiggle room in the drop as that's a two year old phone.

Still saying that cakes are relatively cheap so I guess maybe monetary wise as such.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro (Good) 128GB 5G sells for £699
24 months warranty ( Apple has just 12 months)

Apple iPhone 14 Pro (Good) 128GB 5G buy for £639

Very tiny margin here, and not going to touch, unless cross real feedback for the service.
    Sam_Hogs123's avatar
CEX has already done a big drop of valuation

iPhone 14 exactly same as 12 though 🤷‍♂️

13 and 14 both have dual active eSIM where’s the 12 is only one eSIM active at a time.

Traded in my 13 pro for £560, not a bad £140 upgrade. Thank you!

Even if you have a 1TB size, you’ll still need a cloud storage to backup your data. Therefore it’s ideal to buy the smaller size and pay that extra £25-60 a year for iCloud or Google Drive.
  20. kinnth's avatar
There are 2 phones at good quality at this price and 12 at excellent quality. I’d expect the excellent to come down in price a bit. But good will stay around £700
  21. djdave2929's avatar
Pointless buying now with the 15 so close.

Prices will fall like a pack of cards. Furthermore, these are still joke prices refurbed.
    tagy's avatar
But that never really happens if you look at the price of used 13 pro before and after the 14 came out etc

sure drop a little but not much

What's shocking is when android phones got usb-c (since 2015)... that's 8 years ago and iPhone users about to get this feature in the latest iPhone 15? Goes to show how behind and overly priced apple products are. (edited)

Brrr my android phone was £12 and can do this brrr

Many comments like a stuck record.

Even when the 15 comes out you may save another £50 but they won’t drop much more.
Look how the 13 pro/ pro max dropped similar last year but then held their price
  25. vb90's avatar
soooo it looks like the price hasnt really fallen as everybody predicted??
