The RX 7600 is due to release next month and should be around the 6700 to 6700XT in performance.
I wouldn't get this because of its 8GB VRAM, £200 and below maybe it's worth considering. AMD Polaris launched in 2016 with 8GB at ~£180.
The choking with this will only get worse
I think this a budget card, 8gb is acceptable

Id expect a lot better performance by now.
I'd personally wait to see what the rx7600 performance and pricing are like. It might drive the prices of 6700xt down. If you can find 6700xt close to 300£ I'd stretch the budget for it for a bigger jump in performance.
