This Sapphire just about fits in my case, the MSI is just a little too long...
    Grrrrr!

This comes in at between 5-15% (average closer to 5 than 15) slower than the 4070, while using around the same power (and having 4GB extra VRAM). It can be overclocked to essentially draw even with the 4070 (and with undervolting as well, doesn't really use more power).

In other words, the 6800 non-XT is the one really great RDNA2 card if power efficiency matters to you. And the 4070 is clearly proven to be an outrage, and absolute mickey take by Ngreedia (whereas a 16GB 4070 at 400 quid - still providing a massive profit to Ngreedia- would have been an insane best seller).

Pretty decent deal for a last gen high end part. Yea, it's the most 'cut down' version of Navi 21, but it's still Navi 21 with full fat memory bus and 128MB of L3 Infinity Cache and everything. Roughly equivalent to 3070Ti in performance for an Nvidia comparison.

Looks like the market has finally settled. Paid 530 last October for the ASROCK OC version of this card
