Bit of a rubbish card compared to anything higher in the range, but it's about the lowest I've seen for a brand new card for a while.

ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6500 XT OC Edition 4GB GDDR6 Graphics Card
Features
- Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a slimmed down barrier ring that provides better airflow through the cooling array.
- Dual ball fan bearings can last up to twice as long as sleeve bearing designs.
- A 2.7-slot design expands cooling surface area to make the most of the powerful Axial-tech fans.
- An all-aluminum shroud and metal backplate enhance durability.
- A 144-hour validation program puts cards through a series of stringent tests to ensure compatibility with the latest games.
- A vented backplate prevents hot air from recirculating through the cooling array.Axial-tech Fan Design
Two tried-and-true Axial-tech fans feature a smaller hub that facilitates longer blades and a slimmed down barrier ring to provide better airflow through the cooling array.
Dual Ball Fan Bearings
Different bearing types have unique pros and cons. Ball bearings excel at durability and can last up to twice as long as sleeve bearing designs.
2.7-slot Design
The heat spreader draws heat up into heatpipes that carry it through a fin stack that fills most of the card’s large, 2.7-slot footprint.

Just to point out in case anyone is looking at this deal thinking "wow it's great, a cheap graphics card" - it's one of the worst releases in the last couple of years.

You are so much better off stretching another £55 or so and getting the RX 6600 at the budget end of the scale, one for £176 here: hotukdeals.com/dea…207

You will get almost double the performance (and double the VRAM) going for an RX 6600 instead of this 6500 XT, graph from Hardware Unboxed:

Yes, it’s terrible. Even more so now with 8GB cards straining under modern games at higher resolutions. Can’t even be used as a media PC card due to the media engine being crippled/non-existent. Would give this a miss. If really hard up, get a used RX 5600, 5700 or GTX 1660 Super to tide you over.

These utter POS cards exist for one purpose only- to 'justify' the price increase of the next tier- in other words the first tier worth considering. A few years back, the 6500 class was selling for around 50 quid.

But remember, AMD alone could never have pulled this pricing stunt. It is wholly the fault of Ngreedia, a vile and despicable company that just released a 4000 series card with ZERO performance increase over the 3000 equivalent, and with 4GB less VRAM. The current cards worth buying are all AMD last gen- 6600, 6700XT and 6800. Only when you get to the 4090 does Ngreedia have a 'worthwhile' product, and that only if you have semi-pro needs that justify its price.

Lol. Some logic there, kid - "This AMD product is bad because nVidia's fault", what?

Still a terrible deal. Buy a used 1060, 1660, 1660super, or 5600xt for the same price or less. Or buy a 6600 for £50 more. Don't waste your money on this.

I think most people will be unwilling to spend the money on the hardware required to have a good experience with Starfield.

Good price for a 6500XT. Problem is, the best thing about it is low power usage, so was considering for my small ITX case, but they've put a 2.7slot cooler on it so it won't fit! Going to investigate if a 6650XT will fit as that seems better value for the relative performance. Kind of depressing that a 5500XT beats this in many games and can be found with 8gb:
