Note: This uses a slightly faster and more efficient GDDR6X memory which is superior to the GDDR6 memory used on the RTX 4060 Ti, RTX 3060, RTX 3070 and most RTX 3060 Ti models.

  • NVIDIA Ampere Streaming Multiprocessors: The building blocks for the world’s fastest, most efficient GPUs, the all-new Ampere SM brings 2X the FP32 throughput and improved power efficiency.
  • 2nd Generation RT Cores: Experience 2X the throughput of 1st gen RT Cores, plus concurrent RT and shading for a whole new level of ray tracing performance.
  • 3rd Generation Tensor Cores: Get up to 2X the throughput with structural sparsity and advanced AI algorithms such as DLSS. These cores deliver a massive boost in game performance and all-new AI capabilities.
  • OC edition: Boost Clock 1710 MHz (OC Mode)/1680 MHz(Default Mode)
  • Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure.
  • A 2-slot design maximizes compatibility and cooling efficiency for superior performance in small chassis.
  • 0dB Technology lets you enjoy light gaming in relative silence.
  • Dual ball fan bearings can last up to twice as long as sleeve bearing designs.
  • A stainless steel bracket is harder and more resistant to corrosion.

Can anyone recommend a gaming pc for around 1500

Surely has posted something. Check his posted deals.

This is a solid card still. Mines smashing out most games at 1440p 60fps with some settings tweaked

What CPU? I'm on a 5600x and almost always hitting 80fps+

This is 120fps card @1440p in all multiplayer titles (sometimes with the help of DLSS). Although I output to 1800p myself as I'm on a big telly and so 1440p isn't dense.

but its a 3060 with only 8gb. its not a great card to invest in.

your better going for a 6700 xt for a little more money

    Its not a 3060. It is a 3060 Ti

Should have at least 88GB of VRAM at this price!

I mean gtx 1080 had 8 and 1080 ti had 11 so why can't a rtx 3060 ti come with at least 10? Phones come with minimum 12 nowadays... Heck even budget Rx amd 4xx and 5xx had 8gb...

REMINDER- Ngreedia could sell the 3070 down at this price. Instead, to spite you, they massive cut-down the 3070 chip, and sell it as the (exactly same build cost) 3060TI. Nvidia never gives a sucker an even break.

Um, binning (or "cutting down" in layman's terms) ICs has been industry standard for over 30 years. They manufacture a chip hoping it will make the grade for Part A, and if it doesn't, it becomes Part B or Part C instead. It's not done out of spite, it's done to reduce waste.

    Great price

It's been a very long time since I gave an Nvidia deal heat, but I have here.

Yes, the 8GB is still not ideal at all, but at sub-£300, this card is basically where it should be by now, and it's powerful enough to still provide a decent experience in modern titles, even if you have to turn textures down and whatnot. At least the performance can still be there. My issue with 8GB parts comes mainly at the >£300 pricepoints. In 2023, that just isn't acceptable. (edited)

Decent deal. Might upgrade from my GTX 1660 one day

Very nearly bit the bullet on a pair of these earlier today. All seem OOS at this price now, for New at least.

Decided to wait for the 4060 8GB and 4060 ti 16GB releases coming up to see if that shake anything up further. (edited)
    DabsSB's avatar
The reviews of the 4060 ti 8GB haven't been good at all.

Gave it heat because it's a white GPU!

This. It'd be a lovely addition to mine, even though it's not the most powerful card ... and I only play World of Warships once in a blue moon so I don't care about huge FPS
  11. BrummyOzil_'s avatar
Not too bad at all. Remember this time last year this card was £570 - so half price in 12 months.

For those complaining about 8Gb Vram not being enough, it is more than enough for most gamers / new build enthusiasts. Just turn down the in-game settings a little - not everything needs to be ran on Epic settings. But for a majority of games you will run them perfectly well

how do/will these compare to the upcoming 4060 card out in july?
    kharma45's avatar
    Likely better

Should be about £277 with a fee free card

    OOS?

Would this qualify for the Asus cashback?

One comment says On average the GDDR6X variant is 5.08% faster than the original GDDR6, though it comes with 13.7% more total power draw.

I think this is quite hot. Better card than the 4060/4060Ti ?
