(Put this info together for a family member, but I thought it deserved a wider audience...)

*** MOST RECENT UPDATE: 30th November 2017 ***

NOTE #1: in each case, I've put the lowest current "normal" (pay, and get the phone) price I'm aware of, as well as alternative routes (if any) for people comfortable to PAYG and cancel if that works out cheaper.

NOTE #2: In many cases, TopCashback may be payable. Never hurts to go via TCB rather than direct when you're ready to stop browsing and start buying!

NOTE #3: I have shown multiple vendors when they're within a few pounds, in case you have a preference or can figure out how to get more cashback from one than the other.

All the phones below should come with at least Android 6.0. Many are Android 7.0 or better, but please double-check.

Useful but if you are brave enough to buy from Chinese websites there is a lot more value in some of the more exotic Xiaomi and Lenovo's that aren't retailed in the UK

Oh, absolutely. But the person I did the research for wanted a more "conventional" purchasing route for stuff that's sold and supported in Europe. Figured some on HUKD might too...

Also worth checking Amazon warehouse deals as well. I picked up a brand new open box Wileyfox Swift 2 for a family member for £85 a few weeks back...

Too true.
I bought a Geotel Note for around £65 a while back (cheaper now) an well pleased. Getting accessories is an issue with this model though.

Heat for the effort.

IT's OK, but there's at least a few better deals for the phones you have mentioned already on HUKD, e.g. Nokia 5 PAYG, J5 (2017).

Good point, forgot the Nokia one which was on a separate piece of paper. Thanks for the reminder.

Really handy thanks

Now if you wanted to be really helpful you could link to a site like Techradar or something for lazy sods like myself hehe x

Wow, text book for any deal poster, great job and heat from me

Moto G5 3gb dual sim on Amazon Warehouse for a little over a ton (after the 20% discount) can't be beat IMO for value for money.

What's the Amazon discount code?

Whoops, voted cold by accident, I meant hot. I wish you could change it. Good post!

Where exactly? All I can see is a USED phone for £134.99 and then 20% off

Great post

Ok, guys which one?

For my daughter birthday, it's the only present she has asked for

Top budget £150 (could go with Used)

needs fingerprint sensor

Would like it to be somewhat water resistant

Fast charge would be great

Im thinking either whileyfox Swift 2s or the Moto 5 .....?

I just did a quick search and found it said away...

Moto G4 plus - used like new for £80ish on amazon

Thanks OP - looking for a phone in this bracket after my P2 took a short trip down the toilet.....

Used like new are at the bottom of the list. I selected gold, there were 3 left.

G4's have the ghosting issue so would avoid.

Amazon Warehouse only do used phones £134.39 * 0.8 = £107.52 - i.e. "Amazon Warehouse for a little over a ton"

Thanks. Useful info to some, I'm sure - and a great price!

However, I won't add it because O2 have a policy of locking PAYG phones for 12 months, whereas Three and EE don't. (And CPW sells them unlocked with the SIM separately) My list at the top is meant to be as little hassle as possible.

Glad I grabbed the P10 Lite for £105, pending cashback, the other day

Based on personal experience, id warn anyone away from the Wileyfox phones. I thought id got my daughter a real bargain after reading several reviews (techradar etc) and bought the Swift 2. After a month or two it started randomly restarting, once it got to double figures in a day i decided enough was enough. Try and contact customer support, nothing, they dont state ANY contact number and dont respond to emails. Luckily I bought via Amazon and they sorted the refund. Heat for the post though!

ZTE Axon 7 is right up there as the best bang for your buck you can get right now from GB.
