Overpriced Crap ! Stated as 47% chichin breast .More likely mechanically recovered meat, IE , pressure washed bones and carcasses pressed into a burger shape ! Would not feed them to my dog !

So Birds Eye are lying about the contents?  That’s some rant over chicken burgers for a Friday night - peace

You can get 4 pack for £3.50 using Tesco Clubcard tesco.com/gro…023

So more than twice the price then

These things are not nice. I suppose some people must like them, but I didn't.

These are great, best cheap frozen chicken lumps I've come across. Used to be five for a fiver but for today this is a great deal.

Good deal, i’ve stopped buying these though as they smell godawful when doing them in the air fryer compared to othe BE products such as dippers. I just don’t feel i’m giving my kids good food when i used to give them these, the smell and grease i’d horrible. However, a decent deal if you’re a fan. Heat 🔥🔥

Wow! These used to be £1.50 for a pack is two not so long ago. Sad state of affairs :-(

And I bet these are smaller.

    Oily not nice

It’s now cheaper (still bloody expensive) to buy fresh, real meat. I’ve never felt better.

There's something in these (the oil?) that gives me a bubbly, sometimes knotted stomach ache.

They are highly processed and prob full of chemicals as well as being too oily.

Everything you eat and drink is made of chemicals.

On the same deal as loads of products, including alphabites, fries, Chicago town pizza etc.
Really good 4 for £5 offer

    Voted hot @ 4 for £5

I enjoyed these @ £2.50-£3.00 a pack of 4 some time back, but then the price got silly, so I gave Tesco a shot
(Hearty Food Co 8 Breaded Chicken Burgers 456G)...@ £1.50

2 of these (Tesco own brand) burgers, in place of a Birds Eye Quarter Pounder, and it works fer me.
Oh PLEASE feel free to knock em fer ANY reason, but remember, it's ALL a question of PERSONAL taste.
    Just sayin.

    This current Birds Eye deal?
    A 2 pack @ £2.75
Or "4 for £5", so £1.25 a pack of 2 = £2.50 for 4 is a deal IMHO, but I'm happy with the taste (and £) of the Tesco Hearty Food Co offering, still, it's good ter have options, eh. (edited)

One note of caution if you buy these online for delivery - in all the years I've ordered groceries online from Asda, I've never once had an order without at least one item out of stock or substituted.

Now it might be that the Asda they deliver to me from is small, but when you have two successive orders have 13 and 6 items out of stock, including basic items like a white sliced loaf and semi-skimmed milk, it's no wonder I boycotted them for a year. When I resumed, they'd somewhat improved things - only 2-3 out of stock/substitutions per order now (and I've learned to tactically use the subs system - choose subs where the flavour can't change, just the brand).

What I'm saying is that this promo might sell out quickly knowing Asda and I don't know if they'll honour partial purchases for a discount (e.g. you order 4 and they send 3).

Mix and match so can usually get other bits too. Very good deal. They’re generally not that nice but given the price would definitely scran

Expensive for mechanically separated meat too high risk of bowl cancer eating this food.
    timvineismyhero's avatar
Whilst these definitely aren't my cup of tea they aren't mechanically separated meat. Even cooked that stuff still has a mushy texture. It's actual chicken breast that has been minced up, had water added then reshaped. Doesn't even need any preservatives as it is frozen.
