Bosch GSA 12 V-LI professional sabre saw
A very small, cordless, universal sabre saw for easy and versatile use on wood, metal, plastic and insulation material.

With a light, compact design and fast cutting performance, this professional reciprocating sabre saw is a labour-saving replacement for conventional small handsaws – especially in tight spaces.

Its versatility can be applied to wood, metal, plastic and similar materials. Practical features include the Bosch SDS tool-less blade change system, a charge level indicator and an overload protection indicator.

Technical data
  • Cutting depth in wood: 65 mm
  • Cutting depth in metal profiles/pipes: 50 mm
  • Stroke length: 14.5 mm
  • Stroke rate (1st/2nd gear): 0/3,000 spm
  • Battery capacity/voltage: 2.0 Ah/12 V
  • Weight (incl. battery): 1.2 kg
  • Sound pressure/power level: 70/81 dB(A)

Ergonomics
A small grip circumference, with soft-grip covering, and a weight of just 1.2 kg, make this cordless sabre saw easy and comfortable to operate. Its compact size is particularly useful when space is restricted.

Versatility
The universal applications of this versatile reciprocating sabre saw include wood, metal, plastic, insulation and similar materials. Built to cope with heavy duties, it can be used wherever you might previously have chosen a small handsaw.

Overload warnings
The sabre saw features an overload protection indicator. By warning of possible tool overloads, it helps ensure a longer lifetime.

Lighting
This sabre saw comes with its own integral LED light, which means the cutting area is well illuminated even if the workspace is dark.

Batteries
A practical charge level indicator shows how much energy is left in the battery.

The batteries (sold separately) for this sabre saw have all the advantages of Bosch Premium Li-ion technology. These include longer lifetime and runtime.

They are protected from overloading, overheating and deep discharge by Bosch Electronic Cell Protection (ECP).

It is not the lowest it has been, but theres a load of other Bosch Pro stuff with £10-£20 off at the moment in both the 12v and 18v range.

Probably 240v too but haven't checked yet.

Unfortunatley fo me, I have most of what I will ever need and no discount on the 18v table saw & stand I just bought for £600.

There are also various Bosch Promos on at the moment where if you purchase a tool costin £xx.xx, you can get a free tool.

Maybe be able to combine the Amazon offers and Bosch promo if the conditions are correct. (edited)

Got the 18V version a deal a while back for similar money, with L Box. Excellent tool.

It’s done a great job collecting dust in my DIY cupboard After having it for close to 2y I finally used it last week and was glad I had it.

Was hoping the GOP 18 would be on offer aswell, but it’s still expensive Been holding out for ages for a stinking deal on that. Part of me wishes I’d gone Makita, seen so many deals on Makita tools whilst I’ve been waiting to fill up my Bosch cupboard. Don’t like spaces collecting dust when a tool could do that job

Handy little tool, user it for trimming bolts to length and cutting branches / roots mostly.

Would like the 18V version for occasional demolition work but use a corded which does the job

I think it's for Prime members only. I can't see the discount either.

have it for a while.... to me it is the most useless tool I ever got...
I don' know what I bought it for: maybe hotukdeals fault, maybe I was just trying to utilize the 2 batteries I got from my 12v bosch drill
I still dont understand why the reviews on Amazon is so good, I can barely use it to cut anything straight.... what are the use cases for this tool? just being curious

Cutting small tree branches I suppose, useful for outside fireplace or pit
